Hey guys! Some of you were requesting a photo of my natural bows so here you go. 2 other pics are pics with my own penciling. make up. I realise all too well the tech did do a good job and some of you are advising me to have a top up, but since i got these eyebrows i dont feel like myself anymore. I had very soft features and now its still weird seeing myself in the mirror with these pronounced high arched brow on those soft features.I want to be extra clear on the fact that my tech was very sweet, comprehensive and patient. She also did a good job on the shape. She offered me a solution but i didnt go with it.They are too dark for my personal taste.. an auburn top up will only lightem them a tad. I requested an almost blondde caramelish color and got dark redbrown. I have red hair wich had more of a blonde undertone rather than a red auburn.Maybe i ill just wait and see how they fade and then decide what to do. Thank you everyone for your comments!

Look for a brand of light eyebrow color in the cosmetic dept of a large store..lightly brush the powder over the microbladed brows...they are a "not too deep type" of tattoo" and they will fade eventually. Lasers, etc might have you ending up with results that you like even less that the microbladding.
You look beautiful either way!
Thank you dear you are toooo sweet :)

Hello I had my brows microbladed 3 months ago. I...

Hello

I had my brows microbladed 3 months ago. I wanted a color to suit my red hair. A very dark brown color was used. They reassured me saying it would heal alot lighter. The scabs of the front of te brows came off after 5 days. The scabs of the tails stood their ground until around day 9. Also the pigment in the scab turned very very grey. When everyting came off there was a light colour underneath, but the tails still a bit greyer than the front. Over the past six months the tails regained colour. The rest of the brows not so much. Because the color was way too dark for me i did not go back for a top up.. the technician was very sweet and helpfull and everything so i feel guilty about posting this but i have to deal with uneven dark eyebrows now.

I just want everything removed. I miss my browless face now. I am looking for having them removed by laser but i am so scared for trying laser because the pigments may contain iron oxides in the red colourcomponents. However a doctor who specialises in pmu removal told me that he feels the red ink already went away. He uses a quanta c plus laser. I am still scared of the color darkening or turning with laser treatment because the iron oxide.

Can anyone advise me?

Hi Sara,
I also had an unfortunate experience with permanent makeup. But please don't despair! Permanent pigments DO often contain iron oxides but they absolutely CAN be totally removed with laser!! I promise you.... I am living proof to that fact. :) Truthfully, it takes several sessions spaced about 4 to six weeks (to allow healing between treatments) but the process and the time necessary to rid yourself of this horror.... to me, is well worth it!!! Also, removal of an eyebrow tattoo costs more than getting one.... but I was so miserable I didn't care. I went to a dermatologist who specializes with using lasers so I felt I would be in good hands (and I was!). He used a Q-switched laser for my removal. If you have any additional questions, just let me know. I am happy to help you. I remember well how it feels to be in this predicament!! :) All the best to you!
Hello, I got my eyebrows microbladed 4 months ago and 1 month ago I got an allergic reaction where my eyes swelled up so much that I could not even open up my eye. A day before the allergic reaction I had professional make up done with glued one day fake eye lashes. I removed the lashes and make up and a day after my eyes were sore but I applied my regular make up routine and couple hours after my eyes swelled up so much. The allergic reaction could be from the make up, fake eyelashes or microblading so I went to allergist who diagnosed me with Nickel allergy after positive patch test. From researching and reading about Nickel allergy, Nickel could be present in some iron oxides :( and iron oxides may be present in the ink/pigment used in Microblading. I am so so so so depressed, my anxiety is up the roof I am afraid that I have an allergen on my eyebrows which causing me to swell up! How effective was your microblading removal? Can you post pictures and are the oxides removed completely? How does that work?
As a makeup artist in the industry for over 30 years the shape is good. Maybe having brows was too much of a change. Instead of laser maybe go to a permanent makeup specialist who can use a lighter pigment to soften the brow or the same artist who microbladed see if they can add a lighter color as a touch up...
Excellent advice .
I am also a redhead and I had microblading done recently. From my own experience, your color was too dark. But at the same time, it really doesn't look right until the second visit is complete. I continues to color mine in until I had the second session. My artist used fox color which is nearly orange, and mixed in some light brown strokes to make the color appear natural. Personally, I would consult a different artist with more experience specifically to redheads. It's hard to do anything cosmetically for red heads and we have to be careful who we see. Good luck!
Thats exactly the color she used actually.. :) i wonder what happened that it ended up looking darker. Maybe my skin is too thin. I dont know. All i know the color healed much greyer than i had hoped for. Again the technicin did wha she was taugh too, i just dont like the outcome on my face and my miss my soft face. It looks very harsh on me altough the shape is good and everything. How ols is your microblading?
Im sorry, old*
I had mine done in June. It was grey after the first visit too. It only looks complete and the grey goes away after the second application. That's because the first appointment deposits the color under your skin and the healed skin over it makes it look gray. But after the second application, it is visible through the top layer as well. A lot of people have that complaint about the grey color but it does go away after a second visit! My microblading is about two months old.
Wow, I just had mine done and I wish mine looked like yours! I'm also a redhead and I don't think mine are going to match very well. I wish I would have questioned my technician more thoroughly. I don't think yours look as bad as you think.
From the photo , i think the eyebrows look beautiful . I had this done , however the med spa i went to only did the tapping method . I have a little harsh line on my brows , i wish mine looked as good as yours .The spa tech stated my brows would look powdered in . Not so .
