update after 2 weeks
Thought I would post an update after 2 weeks and include photo. Breast implants now very comfortable. No pain at all, just the occasional twinge.
Breasts are softening all the time, and looking a bit more natural.
Started doing a bit of cycling at the gym. Feeling good and back to work next week.

I have not writen a personal blog before - hey ho here goes. Hope this is useful?
I am a happily married transwoman living in UK. I had gender surgery and facial surgery many years ago, but never a BA. I was always worried about the scare stories in the media.
However I was quite flat chested - i have a good figure but an A cup at best. This affected my confidence especially at the pool and gym. I also avoided low cut tops.
I went to see a cosmetic surgeon I had used before in Belgium for a small facial procedure. I mentioned BA and he suggested I talk to his colleague Dr Bert Oelbrandt. He is a younger surgeon who has done over 1000 BA's.
During the initial consultation I looked at very modest 200 cc implants as I did not want anything big. He said I needed bigger to look right and we settled on 300 / 330 cc round implants.
I had the surgery this week at his Belgium clinic. It is a modest place, but smart and clean. The surgeon was very helpful and we had a final chat before the procedure. I
left the clinic later in the day with pain meds and returned to my hotel. It was quite uncomfortable but not really painful. The hardest bit was getting in and out of bed. My husband was with me and he helped.
Day 2 pain was much lower, and we just relaxed at hotel. Day 3 went to clinic for quick check up and travelling home today. I feel good - able to walk fine just not lift much.
The initial results look great - about C cup. They are a bit tight and pointy but very little pain. After a few weeks I bet my new gals will be feeling right at home.
Was it worth it - you bet! I love the appearance and it will be great for my confidence. Why did I wait 15 years?
For anyone undecided, find a good surgeon and go for it!
