1 month post op
Well, Friday October 23rd was my 1 month anniversary. A lot has changed. The girls are a lot softer and have definitely lowered. I can sleep flat and on my side ( no more morning boob). I forget about them for long periods of time now. I guess that means they are becoming more a part of me. Still haven't bought a real bra yet. Going to go shopping with my sister in a week or two. I bought a sports bra and started running again last week 36 D. It felt really good to be back active again. I guess the point of my rambling is I feel like I'm getting back to normal. I missed normal!
2 weeks post op
Passed the two week mark. Breasts feel much softer. They are still riding high though. Off all pain meds, not even a Tylenol! Still sleeping on my wedge pillow seems to alleviate "morning boob". Started back to walking today(not supposed to get my blood pressure elevated for 2 weeks). Did 2 miles this am before work. Will gradually increase then start working legs and abs and after 6 weeks I'm free to do anything. Running, upper body etc. I must say I really love my boobs!! I am a pretty conservative person so the only one who gets a real good view ( in sexy clothes) is hubby. He loves them also. Otherwise at work I dress like I always have and no one has said anything except my few friends I told beforehand. I have learned a lot from this site. Made friends and enjoyed following everyone's journeys. Many of us are older and I'm still so impressed with all the insightful things I read from everyone! Many blessings to all!!!
Post op visit
Went to 1 week follow up visit today. No problems he was quite pleased. Removed my stitches and steri strips are off. I can wear a bra now but just soft ones until next week. (I have kinda enjoyed going bra less ha ha) I don't have to go back for 3 months. Yeah! Still pretty high but don't have to massage except when I shower daily! I hope all my pals out there are doing well. This is definitely the best thing I've ever done for myself except my fitness habit. Can't wait to get back in the gym.
Provider Review
Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
McClellan Park Medical Mall, 171 Town Center Dr., Anniston, Alabama
Felt very comfortable with the doctor and his staff. Super easy to work with! Very confident in his abilities. Not cocky. If you need a lot of hand holding he is probably not what you are looking for. If you want a natural look a reasonable price and a great outcome he is your guy!
