Going from a 38JJ to a D/DD I haven't had surgery yet and I'll update the week before and during!! Wish me luck! I'm very confident my outcome will give me my life back! I'm in constant pain in my back even making dinner will make my back go out for 2 to 3 days are used to be very active before my hysterectomy three years ago and since then due to the miss dosage of estrogen that they gave me four times the amount anyone and should be on they grew from a double D to a double J

Good luck...you won't look back. I'm three days post surgery and it's the best thing I ever did. I also grew massively - but because I went on HRT, I was a 32H/J. Here's to the new you!

If you stay of HRT will they grow again more?
May 25, 2017
Unlikely. It was explained to me that changes in hormones when you are young make it likely your breast tissue could grow back after a surgical reduction. After menopause, even with bio identical or surgical HRT it's not enough to boost breast tissue. I suppose weight gain might contribute to them getting a little bigger. I'm off HRT now, and apart from using a tiny negligible amount of estiadol and progesterone cream on my face, I dont intend revisiting HRT. Hopefully my boobs will be pert and tiny for life! It's a great feeling x

Hi Melissa
I can relate. I am 5 days post op. Had both TT and BR. The BR went well and my tubes are out. Just some light bruising . I can tell you you will not regret it. Based on the back pain alone this is a good decision . I don't even have back pain right now when I had it every day.
My breasts are actually in the right place now. are doing the right thing for you! Stay strong and keep focussed on why you began the journey. All will be well.!

My surgery was yesterday. I had to be there at 6 a.m. so I literally had maybe one hour of sleep. I was so excited waiting in the waiting room that when they called my name I rushed and kissed my family and literally skipped back with a nurse. I wanted to have a postive attitude going into surgery! I havr been wanting this for so long and i was damed if i was going to act like a scaredy cat!! My anesthesiologist was literally Santa Claus!! Looked just like him which made me feel so good! They took two and a half pounds out of each breast. I did wake up in some pain but they kept putting Demerol in my IV til it stopped. Spent about an hour in recovery. The nurses help me get dressed and complimented me that I didn't wear leggings like most women do because they're harder to get on someone that's recovering from surgery. I wore black cotton paloozo type pants. Very flowy. I walked alot when I got home and did too much with my arms because I'm paying for it this morning!! The numbing medication has definitely worn off lol I was a 36 JJ
I have zero regrets!!
I was told not to mess with anything over the weekend! I help 100% confident with Dr. Urquhart

Well done! Now take it easy, DONT do too much too soon, even if you feel great. No lifting anything over a couple,of pounds...no kids, no cats, no crates of wine!! Lol! Sleep as much as you can, drink loads of water, eat protein and ready and heal. You look great x

I'm a overflowing DDD, back pain, migraines and having a hysterectomy didn't help either. My surgery is July 6, my husband leaves for deployment training the day before so my daughter is taking me. I'm so excited but getting nervous too. I bruise easily and anesthesia makes,me,sick. I know it will be worth it in the long run..any good advice??

Make sure you have around the clock help for atleast a week. Even if you feel better try to just rest and do as minimal things around the house as possible. Don't think a few days after surgery that you feel great and go out and do a bunch of stuff because I've seen so many girls do that and end up with infections and in tremendous amount of pain!! Make sure you have the right postop bra. One that will not irritate your incision line underneath your breast. I believe I posted a picture of one that has been a lifesaver for me! Do what your PC says. Mine told me to keep it clean and dry I've seen so many girls on a lot of Facebook breast reduction groups putting Neosporin or some type of ointment and nine times out of 10 they all end up with infections clean and dry is the best way to take care of your incisions and just leave them alone and let them heal.
