Worst Decision of my Life

I was teased in school in the 5Th grade for having a mustache. As a girl you def don't want any hair on your face so I started removing it with cream hair remover. I did this about once a week for years until it started making my upper lip dark and not removing the hair 15 years later. So then I decided I had to do something and I came across electrolysis. I did my research and there was several people that had great results so I decided to give it a go. I went to a lady in Illinois that said she would give me a discount and only do it for 10 for the first and then after it would go up. I had asked her if she had any patients that this had worked on and she said yes several. I was so excited because I just wanted to be hair free on my upper lip. So I had the procedure done and she removed all the hair on my upper lip with thermolysis. (I was skeptical because her arms were extremely hairy.. Like a mans) but I thought well she can't do this on herself. So afterward I left and my entire face started itching. Keep in mind I only had my upper lip done. So it was like all the blodd came rushing to my face. A week later my son started laughing and he said mom.. You have a Beard. I about started to cry. I went to the bathroom and sure enough I had hair out of the blue on my chin. I about died! I have never in my life had hair on my chin. As weeks and months and years have went on it has just continued to get worse. Now there is hair all over my face... I am talking forehead... Still on upper lip... Sides of face... Nose... All over and I also started getting hair on my breasts... Back.. Neck... Shoulders.. It's everywhere. I called this lady that had done it when I started noticing hair everywhere and she said that she isn't sure what happened. The only explanation I got. Now I live my life in seclusion. I have 3 kids... That love sports. I put a hat on and literally try and avoid the stares. O am scared to death to try laser or any other form of hair removal aa the hair is blonde right now... But since I have black hair I am afraid of dark shadows forming like what happened to my upper lip with the cream hair remover along with waxing. I'm sonafraid the hair will be worse. I haven't went to a store in years because when I do people stare at me like I am a freak. I have tried counseling but it didn't help and the people behind the counter would just laugh at me. It really hurts me to know I ruined my life and my kids with 10 bucks. I am writing this after years of dealing with seclusion so no one else has to go through what I have been. If it wasn't for God and the live of my kids I feel like I wouldn't be willing to live. Think twice before this procedure. It could literally ruin your life. Now I wish I had just the hair on my lip to remove.

Its absolutely impossible for electrolysis to cause increased hair growth. Laser can in rare cases stimulate growth on areas that were treated.
You can assume what you want. But I know what happened to me. If you seen my before pics compared to now you would have a different opinion. Nothing changed until a week after electrolysis. I have actually had a few other people witness the same thing on hairtell.com. I think the fact that I was holding a wet shringe while having electricity put through my follicles woke up other follicles. I think anything is possible and it hasn't just happened to me. Laser yes...it has happened to a few but not everyone! And in this case of electrolysis I was an exception.
This is complete rubbish. Shame on you for spreading misinformation.
This is not rubbish. This is an honest to God truth of what happened to me. Everyone's experience and body is different.
Sounds like you could of been suffering from Hirsutism. Electrolysis can't cause hair growth
For the hair on your face there is a creme called "vaniqa" that helps transforms black hair to peach fuzz, but if you have hormonal problems it would be better to treat them before considering any other options.
