I am petite but since I’ve been in menopause I’m having trouble losing my belly fat.
After seeing ads on the train and researching SculpSure, I’ve decided to try it.
I went to Dr. Anna Avaliani located in Manhattan because she was running a special.
She gave me a complimentary consultation and that very same day I tried it. It was discussed that I will do my top and bottom abs and my lower back and love handles.
Dr. A stayed with me the whole time. She went into details of what to expected and explained everything to me.
She never left my side and made sure I was comfortable. The first time we watched videos (Taylor Swift) and the second time we watched half of Magic Mike. LOL!
It went exactly the way she explained. The upper and lower abs were treated first. She hooked me up to the machine by strapping the belts in the location where I need to be treated and attached the application.
At first I felt nothing as the machine was warming up and then I felt heat. The process alternates between heating up and cooling down. When the heat got to the point where it starts to feel uncomfortable the cooling phase kicks in.
25 minutes came and went. Now for the lower back and love handles. I have to admit that the love handles part felt uncomfortable. She had to send a blast of cool air when it became unbearable but I made it through.
The next day I experienced soreness, bloating and swelling. The soreness felt like I worked my abs. This lasted for a couple of weeks. Dr. A’s office followed up to make sure I was okay.
6 weeks later I came back and I saw improvements on my back but not too much on my stomach. I had the same procedure performed again but this time around the process felt better. I still felt discomfort on the my love handles but I refused the cool blast because it prolongs your time. After a while the heat didn’t phrase me and once it got to the point of discomfort the cooling phase came. Dr. A provided me with water and food to take my mind off the heating phase.
The next day I felt fine. The only soreness I experienced was in the oblique areas. No swelling and only minor bloating. Again, Dr. A’s office followed up to make sure I was fine.
My next appointment was exactly 12 weeks from the second procedure. I am pleased with the results. I have photos from my first visit and last visit.
At my last appointment I decided to treat my upper back fat. I felt no discomfort but the next day my chest was hurting. Dr. A's office informed me that the pain will subsided after a couple days and it did. I am looking forward to the results.
