I'm 36 yo, 5'7, and 150 lbs. Seven days and counting until my procedure. I had always had nice breast and a good body without even trying. Then came 3 children in 19 months, along with 90lbs extra. I breast fed all 3 of my kiddos leaving my body in damaged. I was always a full C through hs and college and now I'm a 36B. Oh, and prego boobs were great so to stop breastfeeding and losing 80 lbs in a year in a half, my girls look very sad. I'm proud of my mommy marks but I need some volume in this babies.
My PS and I decided on the ideal implant at 455cc, submuscular, in crease of the breast. I want them to look as natural as possible but I also want to see what I am paying for. Hopefully i don't get boob greed. I am so grateful for all the reviews to help guide me through. Thank you ladies for being vulnerable enough to share. Y'all have inspired me to do the same. That being said I will be posting topless pics on the internet for the first time ever. Lol.

How did it go? I have had my ideals for one full year now. They were VERY slow to come down. I got 500 and 505 in them. I was extremely nervous I was going to need revision surgery because they were so high... but patience got me exactly where they should be. I hope you do not have that issue, but if you do I just wanted to share my experience. I was so distraught because I could not find posted stories with the same issue who had ideals and waited it out and didn't go get a revision. I was worried I was wasting my time. I wasn't. :-)

I'll post more pictures tomorrow at my 3 week po. It went well but the itching is driving me crazy. Did you have the same issue? They still are sitting pretty high but they look some what normal... lol. I'm ready for them to soften up too. How long did it take for yours to start softening and settling?

They softened a little each month and settled about halfway around 5 months. Mine feel very natural now. I have a friend with silicone, and honestly hers do not feel much different than mine. I had the itching while my skin was stretching. That should go away in a week or two.

The procedure went awesome. I think it went extremely well. I'm not good with pain and have little to no threshold but coming out of it I felt great. The nurse told me to set an alarm for pain meds , which I did during the day. At night I should've listened. I woke up at 3am and could not move. The pain was horrible. My husband got me one of my pain meds but I should have listened. Tonight I will be setting an alarm.
They are riding high and tight but Dr. Izenburg assured me as the days go on with massage it will get better.
I'm so excited. To me they look great. The pressure is bothersome but I have BOOBIES again!!!
Here are some before the surgery and 1 day po

I'm so excited your story popped up while I was searching. I almost thought I was looking at myself. We have practically the same boobs, height, weight and age. I had my (4th) consult this week. Once I heard the Ideal was approved my whole plan changed and I had to pick a new dr that offered them. I'm so excited to get them done. I'm saving the best I could to get them asap! Hoping to have it done within the next 2 months. I will be following your progress as I'm super curious how fast or slow things will move along and any issues or helpful advice you may have to share. CONGRATS on your new tata's!!!!!! How exciting! Wish you a quick recovery and hope they drop for you quick too. Yay!

Thank you! I was having problems finding a similar body types as well. And so many women have given me such good advice here on Real Self. I felt that it would be nice to share my story and progress. I actually got the sports bra at Target on clearance for 12.48$. I got the XL and it's the perfect size so far.
Thank you again!!!

I woke up throughout the night to stay ahead of the pain meds and today is a hundred times better than yesterday. I was able to shower with slow controlled motions. I feel like the swelling is the same but hopefully tomorrow it will start to subside. Bruising is minimal too. I hope it stays that way. So tired though. Feels like I'm in this constant fog. Can't wait to feel normal again.

Hi, my situation is the same as yours. I have been going back and forth for a year now and really want the fullness back in my breast. I loved the way they looked when I was pregnant and want that look back. I am a little scared, I have read good and bad reviews. I think I will make a consultation and go from there. I have talked to a close friend who has had this procedure done and she says it was worth it. I just worry about complications that could occur. I know they are not that common, but it is still scary. By the way yours look great!

Thank you for sharing your journey with this along with your helpful pictures! It sounds you and your doctor have a great plan to help you get your fullness back. Feel free to join the February 2017 breast augmentation surgery forum for some pre and post op support. If the link does not work, just type the forum title into the RealSelf search bar. Good luck and keep us posted!
