Picture taken in the morning after taping down over night. No one even notices I had a nose job? I seriously told someone and they didn't believe me. Of course it was closer to the end of the day with swelling and all. I hate my side profile right now because My tip is even bigger and more bulbous, but I'm hoping thats just some extreme swelling. My nostrils are still stiff but the sensation is returning, tip is still stiff. I also notice that one if my nostrils is bigger than the other so it makes my nose look wider? Well patience is key so I'm hoping by 1 year everything settles in and my nose gets smaller. Looking at old pics, ive definitely come a long way...we shall see how much further I have to go...

I'll update later when swelling subsides, it's still stiff, puffy at times, and numb ( I can feel the sensation returning though) ... I just loved the new look I have with filters. Loving my new nose...

Nice results!! Did the doctor augment your bridge? Saw a doctor today that sayed he was just going to break my nose but not build up brigde. Kind of nervous since another doctor wanted to build up bridge and break bones. This is such a big decision.

Tell me about it. Different doctors have different techniques. I really HATE the high bridge. I personally feel it's too Caucasianish n I'll look funny. One doctor told me he wasn't touching my bridge....another told me I needed some kind of bridge/radix because I don't have any at all. Decisions...decisions.

I know right. I may PM you about it. But yes i met with 2 well known PS. One says to augment bridge and the other say no. But both say yes break bones and narrow bridge. I'm confused. I'm revision AA so im freaking out bc i want this to be it..

Some of the bridges I've seen look TOO high n fake to me which I feel isn't "ethnic looking." I refuse to have a high bridge....narrow yes...high...NO WAY! Lol

I think it depends on the surgeons skill. I have seen some surgeons who make the bridge look over exaggerated and fake. However I have also seen very few surgeons make the nose briges high and narrow, but also making it look natural.

Yes true. I consulted with Dr Boahene and he does not want to build up bridge at all. They say he so conservative so thats why I'm thinking long and hard about it. Yes i want natural but i want that well contoured look as well. Nothing over exaggerated

My first surgery was in La 10 plus years ago. PS is deceased not well known but let me add he had no experience. This time I am researching this thing thru. What about you

Hello, my apologies for the late response. I felt the same way about the over built bridge and looking too thin. I feel as though I haven't seen many doctors who don't over build the bridge when working with ethnic noses. The only doc I've ever seen to build a beautiful natural looking bridge is Dr.Yappy, but he's over 20hrs away in another country. Lol my doctor just narrowed my bridge and added cartlidge to my tip. I posted a new picture so I'll let you judge whether building a bridge is right for you. Do you want the ultimate contoured look or just a naturally smaller nose?
