Beyond Expectations
Dr. Malhotra and the staff at Ann Arbor Plastic Surgery offered nothing less than exceptional, incomparable care during the entire process of getting breast implants.
Beginning with my initial consultation with Dr. Malhotra, I felt confident in his abilities as a surgeon and his knowledge in guiding me toward the best type and size of breast implants to get for my lifestyle and desired look. I had an open discussion with him, where I was able to ask all of my questions about the procedure itself as well as concerns about what I could expect afterwards. I was then given time to try on different sizes of implants to find one that I felt worked with my body frame. I would like to note that at no point during or after my initial consultation did I feel pressured or rushed by Dr. Malhotra or his staff to go forward with the procedure itself or go bigger in my choice of implant size.
The day of my surgery was as pleasant as it could have possibly been. The facility where my surgery took place was cozy, intimate (not a huge hospital with multiple wings/floors) and the staff there was incredibly kind. Before my surgery, Dr. Malhotra went over my expectations once more and answered last minute questions I had, which offered an additional layer of comfort before being wheeled into the surgery room. The surgery itself only took an hour and my time in the recovery room was also about one hour, and afterwards I was discharged to go home.
In all honesty, healing from my breast implant surgery was a much more pleasant experience than getting my wisdom teeth pulled out. I took my prescription pain medication for three days, within 48 hours of surgery I was able to walk around my house normally, and within four days I practically had full range of motion back in my upper body. My recovery was like taking a week of vacation from work to relax, watch TV, and catch up on sleep, as the recovery from surgery wasn’t even something that interfered with my time off.
I have had one follow-up appointment so far and, again, the staff (especially Tammy) and Dr. Malhotra have been nothing but helpful and professional. I am extremely pleased with my results. I believe Dr. Malhotra is one of the best surgeons in not only Michigan, but in the entire Midwest. If you are considering breast augmentation or are searching for the right surgeon, you won’t be disappointed by the care you will receive at Ann Arbor Plastic Surgery.
