I wrestled from the time I could walk till I graduated high school, With that being said my nose had been severly broken several times. I was unable to breath out of my nose and it was almost completly crooked. My first nose surgery was back in 2012 at the Fort Meade Kimbrough ambulatory care center. I was not pleased with the procedure so after nearly 3 years I decided to schedule an appt with Dr. Cohen at Andrews air force base. He checked everyhting with my nose, x rays exams. we went over the procedure and its entirety. On the day of my surgery Dr. Cohen explained what they would be doing and that he would be using a grpah for my septum with part of my rib. The surgery was a complete sucess, not only was he extremly professional to me but also my wife, he kept her in the loop with eveything. Post surgery was a easy transition as well, I had to keep the stints in my nose another week or so because Dr. Cohen felt that it needed to heal more, which i am glad he did because I have not had one problem out of my nose. Generally I would get a sinus infection 3-4 times every couple of months, since the surgery I havent had one sinus infection.My nose is completly straight now and after about 15 years I can finally breath through my nose thanks to Dr. Cohen and his staff. Even after I PCS'd from marlyand to North Carolina Dr. Cohen Still keeps in touch to make sure I am doing good and am having no issues. The military needs more Doctors like Dr. Cohen who are not only extremly professional but ones who take care of their patients even after almost a year.
