Still looking very swollen. I know it is super early though. I've been keeping my binder on 24/7 and can't wait until it can come off for a few hours.

Congratulations!! Everything will come together. I had mine on 10/4, but I'm 56. ugh!!! How come you are not in a compression garment? I know all docs have different techniques, but it would help with the swelling. I ate sherbet & frozen fruit popcycles for 2 weeks. The anesthesia made me so dry mouthed, as well as the percocets. Avoid salt & drink lots of water. Sodas are not your friend!!! Ask me any questions.

I wear it 24 hours a day that was when I was adjusting it. I have big hips so when sitting it likes to slide up. I've given up soda now just working on coffee. I have a hard time finding what to eat, because my pain is minimal so have been sticking to yogurt, grapes, jello, cereal and grilled chicken salad. Any tips would be great. Did you experience any dizziness? If I'm standing too long I feel diaphoretic, dizzy and shaky like I'm going to pass out.. You look great btw!!

Thank you!! Taking a showe sapped the energy out of me!! I also had to rest after very small tasks. I would feel horrible!

Two weeks post op will be a big improvement. Rest as much as possible. My compression garment couldn't be removed because my drains came through them:( Then I went to Walmart & bought the Flexi's brand with the unfinished hems on the the thighs & the silky finish.

I might look that up. I really need something that won't slide all the time

Sprung a leak

Today is the worst day for me but hoping it will look better. My right drain is leaking and was told by doctor probably just needs stripped really well and could be a possible clot blocking blood from draining in the tube. Home alone today and feeling a little sad trying to fix it by myself, but it's all right. Maybe I'll just sleep my day away.

Great experience so far. 3rd day Post-Op and everything is going super smooth. Keeping up on meds for comfort, great support from my husband to help me so much and take care of our little one and no problems with constipation... not yet that is. I've been good with cereal with skim milk, fruit, yogurt, jello and salad. I've also given up soda, which I believe helps the healing process. Dr tmrw and hopefully a real shower very soon!! Here is a small pic but can't see everything with all the gauze on me.
