1 Year Post-Op

I haven't been on here in a while - things have been going pretty good - Tomorrow I will be 1 Year post- op and overall I am happy with my decision and results. I have healed up for the most part but I have developed a bump on my right nipple that I am kinda concerned about and haven't been able to get a appointment with my doctor. This surgery really changed my life for the better and I'm glad even with some minor shape issues that I have with the results - I encourage anyone thinking of a reduction to do it and make sure you have a support system around you and open communication with your doctor !!!

Hard to believe that it is ALREADY a YEAR ! Your Profile and Story is very Encouragung to Others ! You have done totally GREAT with your Weight Loss ! I'm so glad that you are still so Happy after your BR ! :-)
Wow. I just read your story (supposed to be getting ready for work) and its pretty incredible. When I saw you said you were a 42H I thought 'me too!' but in your pictures I thought, I think she's bigger so I'm not surprised you were really a J. To take you down to a B/C is a pretty big reduction. I'm assuming that was a free nipple graft? I've heard that nipple pigmentation can be paler after that. I myself could care less about my nipples, I want to be small. I look at your boobs and think I want that! My biggest fear is that they won't take me small. Seems a lot of women end up in DD territory. Too big! Sorry to hear about your nerve damage though, I wonder if that's because of how much they took and if you Dr. was aggressive because of the medical necessity of your shoulder. I hope your nerve damage is truly better, that sort of scared me. I also hope your other medical condition gets resolved as does the bump on your nipple. Thanks for sharing. My surgery is Jan 16, 58, 215 lbs. Terrified:()

4 Months Post-Op

I am now 4 months post-op and I am loving my results. My healing from the reduction is now complete and my nerve damage has been healed so I am really happy with my choice to have the reduction. I alternate between a 40 B/C and I am ok with that especially since i started as a 42J pre-op. My health issues with the growth on my brain are getting better daily and the cause of my passing out has been linked to that and my heart beating 140-160 resting and hopefully the medication helps slow it down and i can get back to normal. I have lost 20 pounds and I am excited about that because I am looking forward to enjoying this summer with my kiddos and hubby. Good luck to all upcoming surgeries and all post op ladies. Hugs to all !!!
