45 Yr Old Mom of 6, Putting my Body Back Together Again, Boobs First - Anchorage, AK

I wrote a great, lengthy review- then my computer froze and it deleted. So here's my stats: I am 45, I have 6 children (all but 2 are adults) and I live in Alaska. I am 5'6", 120lbs and very healthy. All my children were csection babies, this does a number on your belly! I also nursed them all for a year. This does a number on your boobs. I started off, many years ago, with a sweet and perky 32B. Then baby #1 came and I spent a year as a D, then back to a slightly deflated C, then baby #2- and I went back to D for a year, then a much more deflated C. This was my pattern until I became a VERY deflated B. Ever seen a halibut, with it's odd little eye on the side of it's head? That's my boobs now- two little bity halibuts.
I run, a little, I guess. I do boot camp classes, and spinning classes, and Body Pump, a little CrossFit. I did step when it was popular 20 years ago. I'm the original Cardio Queen- me and Richard Simmons. I eat healthy. So after the majority of my kids left the nest I decided I want to look in the mirror naked and like what I see. I hate my boobs, and I have a bad relationship with my belly. Belly has loose skin, when I lift it up I have a freaking 6 pack! No joke! But then I let it go and whoosh, it looks like I drank the 6 pack. Originally I was going to do a tummy tuck and boobs together. I figured I'd save a ton, I mean that's what I kept reading. The big savings was about $300. Yep, a whopping $300. I have a bunch of visitors coming this summer ('cause family NEVER comes in the winter when it's -25 and hotels are still affordable) and we're doing all the crazy touristy stuff you do when you have company. Tummy tuck recovery is longer/harder than just stuffing my empty sacks with some gel. So I decided, boobs this year, belly next year. Hubby is on board.
I have had 2 visits with my PS, Jana Cole. She's kind of awesome. I feel completely at ease with her and she "gets" me. Hubby came to apt #2 and was also put at ease. But do you want to know what pissed me off a little? He was never like, "yeehaw, wifey's getting boobs!". He's always been more, "whatever makes you happy dear." Irritating, right? So he comes with me to the sizing appt a couple weeks ago. The assistant lays out the range that Dr Cole felt appropriate for my build. It was 350cc up to 450cc. She was great (and had great boobs, 400s) informative, showed me how to place the gels in my bra, etc. She says to start at the 300s and work up until I'm happy, and leaves. I look at hubby and say, " ya, um I'm starting at 400." He says, "I know, dear." I put a 400 in one cup, and 450 in the other. Suddenly, hubby's eyes get big...real big. 450 it is! I actually wish I could have tried the 500s. Which brings me to my choice: 450 gels, under the muscle. And now hubby can't wait until my surgery :)
I'm less than two weeks out. I've paid all the surgeons fee's, just waiting for my pre-op on May 27 to pay hospital/anesthesia fees, then it's official- I'm.Getting.Boobs!!!!

I have said it several times, the only way I'll be disappointed is if they're too small. Looking at other reviews, I really hope 450 is enough to reinflate my sad little sacks. That was the biggest option I was given, and I loved them as sizers, but I'm worried about under the muscle making them look smaller. Yes, ladies, I'm not worried about pain. I'm worried my boobs won't be big enough. Ugh, my life problems.
