Worst decision ever! I thought having microblading...
Worst decision ever! I thought having microblading done at the most well known brow salon in Beverly Hills, by the protege of the founder, I was at the safest place ever. I did not believe the founder would ever allow someone to mess up her waxing and shaping clients. Boy was I wrong!
I have been going to Jasmine Kim for waxing and shaping (after the Founder, Anastasia, left 2 years ago to focus on her make-up and brow kit business). After over 15 years with Anastasia, I assumed she (a total perfectionist!) would not allow microblading in her salon unless she was sure it was the most professional available.
I scheduled the procedure with Jasmine feeling totally confident. I have been a medium brown Anastasia Brow pencil for all these years. When Jasmine gives me the first look after the procedure, I was thinking OMG! So dark! But she had told me it is initially dark. Well, after one month of healing, all the hairstrokes that appeared immediately after the procedure morphed into big Black/Grey/Blue blobs!! No medium brown Anastasia pencil here! I went in for the one month "touch up" appointment and discussed the ashy black/grey/blue color and the blobs. Jasmine said, "oh I just need to fill it in". FILL IT IN?? Of course I wasn't that stupid!
I am now 4 months into this mess and am now going for removal which will take several months, during which I will look like total crap!!
I will post my removal experience after it is complete.
