Aside from the scarring (which doesn’t bother me much) my breasts are looking and feeling amazing! I still don’t have much feeling in my nipples and I am still slightly numb around the scars. Dr. Trussler did a great job making it look like my breasts are complex natural! My new bra size is a 36DD, I couldn’t be happier!

What size do you think you are right now?

Week 3 post-op
The third week has been going well. I had the sutures around my areola removed last week and was supposed to have the sutures under my breast removed this week, however I’m out of town so it will be done the day I get back. I am still experiencing some leakage on my right breast where my incisions meet, but the nurse assured me it is normal. I put some gauze under my boob and then put my bra on, so it’s manageable. The nurse says I am healing well overall and I am excited to see what they look like when the last sutures are removed!

Did you get implants during reduction? They are very full and look so great
No implants! I just had a wholeeee lot of boobies! :)
Did they tell you when the scarring will fade?
They didn't give an exact date/time frame. Dr. Trussler gave me a cream to put on my scars every day and also offered to do a laser treatment to help reduce the appearance of them after about 6 months.
They look sooo good and I'm also located in Austin and a DDD. Did you pay out of pocket or did insurance cover?
Insurance covered a small portion but the remaining was out of pocket. I promise it is worth the money (especially with Dr.Trussler)! The hospital I had the surgery in was able to provide me with a payment plan and insurance covered about $3000 worth of the procedure.
That's awesome thanks (: also how'd you get your insurance to cover a portion of it? Do you get your general doctor to send proof to your insurance?
Yeah! So there were a few boxes I had to check. I had to go to the doctor a few times and talk about my back pain. Then they also suggested I do physical therapy for the pain to see if that would help (which it did not). After having proof of all that I went back to my doctor who took pictures and submitted it to my insurance (Cigna).
Thank you! I will do that ASAP
