I FINALLY DID IT. I went to my consultation this morning. I can not believe I am finally getting closer to a procedure I have wanted FOREVER. Basically since I became a young adult and realized I was not going to "fill out". When I was a young girl and would 'play house'... Stuffing my shirt was always the highlite.

hey what size will you get? my consult is in 2 weeks - im 48 and have literally looked flat my whole life apart from breast feeding which i loved - im so done with push up bras and padding restricting me - so i just want something natural and soft - not melons...haha --do the actual sizers you try on look like the real thing or what? bit nervous really.

Let me give you a tip before your consulation. Do not wear a padded bra.

Well, on May 15 I will get to go back and try them on again. I wore a push up bra, as I am sure you can relate to :) not even thinking about trying on sizers. I will let you know then and take pictures.

Are you getting nervous? I do not have much time to read stories, I need to figure out how long I need to request off work. I work in fast food as a manager. I am on my feet a lot. Any ideas?

I’m actually only nervous about size. I don’t want to go too big or too small. It’s such a difficult decision! Otherwise I’m only super excited!! I’ve had surgeries before so that part doesn’t worry me, and I’ve got a high pain tolerance so I’m not really worried about recovery either :P But I have read that most people can return to work within a week. As long as you’re not on your pain meds and can drive, and you don’t do any heavy lifting, you should be fine. Just be sure to take it easy. And obviously check with your doctor to be sure!

I am back on my mission to achieve what I have always wanted, BIGGER BOOBS. I am focusing on slimming down before my goal date of May. I spend my free time (what very little I have) scrolling through stories on here.

I didn't drink alcohol for a week prior, cut down my caffeine, drank more water whilst increasing my intake of vegetables. All the things I should do all the time

Did you heal quicker?

The tips I’ve gotten is to quit smoking at least 30 days prior, drink lots of water, eat a high protein, healthy diet, and I believe no aspirin or ibuprofen for 1-2 weeks beforehand.

I also recommend taking some fiber a week or so before (like miralax). Not a laxative, but something to help you become as regular as possible so you don’t experience conscription after surgery!
