For the past 9 years I have dreamt of getting a tummy tuck. My dream became a reality when I decided I was done with childbearing and the perfect timing will never really arrive. No more excuses, I lost all the weight I could possibly loose. My results are still in progress since it’s only been about 10days since OP, but I want to share my results with those who seek to enhance the beautiful body they live in.

So, it's totally true! The swelling gets worse by 2.5 – 3rd wk, and here I am super swollen, more than ever! These pictures I'm uploading have bad lighting (sorry for that, I like my room dark and relaxed). I'm still banged up with bruising around my body, totally normal, but nothing a little pain killer can't handle. My scar was to light and perfect till the swelling came about and WOW!!! It looks so scary, but from what I have seen, it seems normal. My incision was extended to my back because I requested an hour glass body, no dog ears, and no back rolls and with the extra fat and skin I had, it was needed. My surgeon is amazing because he went above and beyond to make sure my back rolls were gone. (Dr. Fiala is a perfectionist)

At times I can stand up straight and as the evening approaches I get pulled by my muscles, and I find myself bent forward.. I heard it natural. I'm still in bed-rest, and I walk around the house for a little exercise. As well as, to see how my family is keeping up with my home and 3 kids. Support is number 1 when it comes to getting a TT, and I couldn't do this without my amazing family. The hubby gave up on my “to do list” during the beginning of the second week of post op; "man" I tell you!! So, you'll have to let it all go and just heal!

Wow, mine was done on a Friday 6/21 and yours was that following Monday.. We should totally stay close by through our healing journey. =)

You look great! I had mine done on 6/21 as well! How is your energy level? Felt like mine just kicked in right at the 4th week somewhat.

Yes, somewhat... Not 100% ready to conquer what I use to, but I can do a lot more.. I try not to do as much because the next day I'm more swollen than ever, and I'll end up limited. I'm not taking this little extra energy for granted just yet; letting my body still heal while building up endurance from being in bed-rest for 3.5wks.
