I am 42 years old, married and a mother of 3. My kids are 24, 22 & 13. I have finally began to take care of me. I have always struggled with my weight, in 2010 I was at my highest which was 193. I decided to get healthy and got down to 125 then gain back to 178 and now dropped down to 147. It has been a roller coaster ride up and down and I am hoping to finally get down to between 115 to 120 because I am 5ft tall. I had my consultation on 01/07 and scheduled surgery for 05/09 and then decided to reschedule for 06/06 because I would like to lose as much weight as I can before surgery. I am very scared of having surgery, I have never had surgery and I have been so stressed that I have been unable to lose a pound since my consult. What I really need is a mommy makeover but I am to chicken to do it all at one. I am going to get the breast lift done first and then TT and any other work I may need. Because I still need to lose 25 to 30 pounds my PS said that I should not get implants. I am currently a 36D or DD depending on the bra. I know that once I get down to 125 my boobs will deflate and I will not be happy with just a lift. This is why it is so important that I just lose the weight.
Thank you real self ladies for sharing your stories and hopefully helping me overcome my fears and helping me get to complete a mommy makeover. I am super afraid of getting a tummy tuck but there is no denying I need one. I will post pics soon. My tummy is a blob.
Anyway I will continue to fight to get my body back and get the inspiration I need from all of you super ladies.

I hope you are making some progress with your weight loss so you can get the surgery you want.

I've been sticking to my diet and working out, I will post my progress in 4 weeks. I never had surgery before so I am afraid to do it all at once. I will be having my breast lift in about 10 weeks and then TT after that. Thanks

Opinions needed Weight loss after breast lift?

New42
I am about 3 1/2 weeks away from having my breast lift and I have lost some weight but not as much as I should have. After my consultation I went up to 155 and now I am down to 146. I should be able to get down to 141 or 142 by my surgery date. My concern is about what happens if I lose 15 to 20 pounds after surgery. Will my breast sag again? I am asking the women who have had MM because I know a lot of you lose weight after surgery. How did your breast react to weight loss? Should I reschedule my surgery? I have been so stressed preparing for surgery emotionally and financially that I was not able to focus on my weight loss. I am in great health as I do exercise regularly. I just don't know if I should reschedule.

Thank you. I just read your review and I love your results. After reading your story I have no more doubts I will have surgery on 06/06 even at 140 pounds. I feel confident that losing weight after will only improve the results. You look awesome!!
