I have been wanting a nose job since my teen years. I have finally gathered up the nerve (and funds) to go along with it and it was so worth it!
Best and most important pointers I can give you:
1. Never ever go for the bargain, twofer, or whatever some plastic surgeons may offer to lure you to their office. Do your research and go with a FACIAL SPECIALIST. Someone who only does face will have a better understanding of the delicate symmetry of your face and will not give you an "assembly line" nose that may not fit your face.
2. Don't try to get a nose that you saw in a magazine. Be honest with yourself and think long and hard before deciding what to do.
3. Don't assume that a nose job (or any other plastic surgery for that matter) is going to change your life, make you happier, fix your problems, etc. It will however, give you a new found confidence.
4. Make a financial plan. Don't sink yourself in debt to make this happen. Take your time, clear some credit cards and set a goal date for pay off.

Welcome to the community and thanks so much for offering your opinion of your doctor.

It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.

Our community members especially love seeing photos from before, during, and after — a realistic look at what they can expect. Photos grab the attention of the community and encourage more support for you.

As a community manager, I get requests all the time from other members who want me to to keep encouraging people to share their experiences, which are so helpful for others considering these procedures. So please accept this as a well-intentioned request from thousands.
