I've had bigger boobs since I was little. "Lucky me", I blossomed before everyone else. That being said, over the years, gravity took hold and by 22 I needed at least a lift. I didn't have the money then, so I had to wait. My second consultation at 33 proved I needed a lift with implants. So under the knife I went.

If you don't mind me asking, what bra size were you prior to surgery? I'm probably a 34DD but I'm considering implants to get back to the size I was before my second child. I'm just wondering what they'll feel like with a lot of breast tissue on top of them.

First, to answer a few questions - I chose Mentor - gummy bear round implants, under the muscle. And thank you for those that sent me a "Welcome" to the community. :)
So, had surgery on Thursday. I almost didn't have the surgery as my hemoglobin levels were really low on first check. They had to prick my fingers a few more times to get an accurate reading. Note: if your levels are below 9, then you are anemic and can't have surgery. Eek!
The past few days after surgery have been a sleepy time. Lol. I can barely stay awake and am really boated. I resorted to milk of magnesia and even that didn't work within the timeframe specified. It took another whole day to go to the bathroom.
Also, my back hurts... pretty bad. But that is probably just me and my already bad back. I think at some points my back hurts worse than my boobs.
A side warning: they put a catheter in and a tub down your throat. I didn't know that... so to wake up with something down there... was surely a surprise.
Oh! And now being able to shower for 6 days - not fun. My roommates had to do my hair... now they understand my struggle. The thick hair struggle! Ha! :)
