Had my consult in early February. Surgery is next week. Getting nervous and excited! I'm going through the armpit and getting silicone. I will post before and after pictures over the next week. If anyone else has had surgery at this facility or with this doctor, I'd appreciate any feedback you have! Thanks!

Good luck with your upcoming surgery. I'm still trying to decide if 330cc is what I'll be going with so looking forward to seeing some before and afters! It's been a tad hard finding reviews and pictures of the 300-350cc range!

I agree! And they all look different on everyone! When is your surgery??

I know right! The fact that they look different on each person just confuses me more haha. Mine is July 15 - which is deadly because I've just been obsessed with reading reviews lol

Did they go over our under the muscle? Can they go under the muscle if they go threw your armpit?

Mine are under the muscle. So yep! :)

How exciting! I love her, so caring and talented. I'm not gonna lie- at first, I was really nervous that they wouldn't end up looking good because of how different they looked right after surgery. But I am 8 weeks now and they are sooooo perfect! I do have a BIT of asymmetry. But I had that pre-surgery also and it's nothing bad enough to worry me. I love them and I love her work. I'll try to post an updated picture later this week. Good luck! Feel free to message me with any questions!

Spoke with my surgical coordinator today who is awesome! She calmed all of my nerves and said she'd send over some before and after pics of girls my size who went with 350cc so I can get a better idea. Can't wait!

Glad the surgical coordinator was able to calm your nerves a bit. Feel free to also join a forum for members getting breast augmentation this April 2015. Good luck this week and keep us posted!

Has anyone ever had a ridiculous amount of difficulty getting answers from their patient coordinator?! Here is what I'm going through.

Last week, I called Wednesday to ask whether I was allowed to have gel nail polish on because I had made an appt Thursday to get my acrylics off. The receptionist told me that my coordinator was just but she'd call before end of day. Nothing. Thursday, I called again towards the end of the day this time because my appt for nails was shortly after. My coordinator was on the phone and would call back in 15 min. Nothing. Friday I called mad and said I'd wait on hold as long as it took. Finally got in touch with her. She calmed my fears down and said on monday morning, she would send over some before and after photos and reviews from real customers close to my size that my specific doctor worked on. Well Monday came and went. Nothing. Emailed her Monday at 5, she apologized and said she'd have them to me before 11 on Tuesday. Tuesday at 11 am came and went. Sent her a message around noon with a friendly reminder. She apologized and said someone else would be sending them to me shortly. Never heard anything. So I sent another message late last night basically stating that I'm losing faith in the facility. I should not have to try so hard to get information regarding the doctor who will be cutting open my body. So now I'm at a horrible point.

I asked what the procedure is on getting my deposit back if I decide to go elsewhere. I am so upset about this whole thing I couldn't sleep. I now have wasted $100 on blood work, $150 on a hotel, $30 getting my acrylic nails off since I can't have them in surgery, $50 I'll spend on getting them back on. Not to mention a day off of work and my friend took a day off to drive me. Also I donated almost ALL of my bras/swimsuits that fit now. So I have pretty much nothing for summer AND have a vacation in 6 weeks! I couldn't be more upset with the entire situation. Sorry for venting! Also, this morning- still ignoring my email and concerns, they sent me a text and an email asking me to hit reply to confirm my appointment. I'm really starting to believe they view this as something as simple as a hair appointment...

Any advice??

I am going to recruit some other RealSelf members to give you their opinion. I am not a doctor so I can't give advice, but I can tell you to go with your gut instinct. Hopefully I can round up some opinions asap for you!

Wow. Tough spot to be in. I feel for you. Why didn't you get all the info you wanted long before your surgery date? Something doesn't seem right. I'd be hesitant to take a chance with the surgery, even if it means losing your deposit. Always better to be than sorry. I'm sorry I can't be of more help. Never experienced anything like you are experiencing. Can you drive down to the clinic today and demand the info you've been requesting for days? Maybe they get so busy and forget, then make excuses for not delivering; then again, there is no excuse for their inability to follow through after telling you numerous times they would be sending the info. Tough. Don't worry about any money lost. Always go with your gut feeling, because it is usually spot on! Good luck. Keep us posted...

Meant to say it is always better to be SAFE than sorry. Also, with an April 24th surgery date, I wouldn't rely on email and phone for answers. I would get in to my car and drive to the clinic to find out what is going on. If you want answers, sounds like you will have to drive to the clinic. Good luck.

I live an hour and a half away and work until 5. So driving there, isn't an option. I guess I don't really care about the money except that I won't have time to get them done elsewhere before vacation and then by the time I get back, it's prime summer time so I can't get them done. So basically I'm stuck between a rock and a hard spot. I've waited forever for this Friday and I guess I chose the wrong facility. I know I'm being dramatic, but I feel like they've ruined my vacation and my entire summer. Ughhhhhh.

If you don't feel comfortable, i'd rather have a ruined summer than a ruined body. Good luck in which ever direction you decide to take. His office is a poor reflection on the Dr. It's too bad!

Awww, don't look at it that way. See it as a blessing. So you start from scratch. You have to decide what is most important to you. I sure would not be trusting at this point if I were you and would count my blessings. There are plenty of doctors who shouldn't be practicing. You should just go on your vacation, enjoy it, then start researching and looking for a better plastic surgeon. Summers come and go. Don't worry about the seasons, worry about finding the right doctor/facility. Surgery is a major decision and poses risks. You need to be careful when choosing as you are ultimately the one responsible for your safety. All the other stuff you are worry about is small. I know you had high hopes and excitement and it is such a let down when things don't go as we planned, but you know, it happens. Sometimes our plans change and disrupt the goal, but at least you've got another shot -- a shot at making things better. How well did you research your doctor? Does he have a website? A lot of doctors have before and afters on their websites. How did you find your doctor?

You are not being dramatic at all. You have every right to be upset as I would be too. You thought you had found what you were looking for an got really excited when you had your date. Really wish you the best of luck and my feeling is if you have second thoughts then just be done now. I know it's going to suck losing your money but sometimes it's better to be safe than sorry.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through all that! I would be the same way. Have you done your research on your PS? How have the reviews been? Any other complaints? It is possible that she got super busy and it totally slipped her mind - not at all excusable but may not mean you will have a bad surgery experience. I agree with Lynn - she should have given you all these details and answered your questions a long time ago. I guess for you, being that they are so unresponsive, I would be more concerned with what kind attention you will get post-op. I know the first two weeks after my surgery I had lots of questions and concerns for my PS and would have been a wreck if he had not been available. I'm so sorry...at the end of the day go with what your gut is telling you!

I'm so sorry that you are going through this and I could completely get why you would want to just get your money back at this point. Did you do research on this PS or know anyone who's gotten work done by him? I would say that if you know the PS is on the up and up and doesn't have a bunch of complaints then I wouldn't worry about it. Maybe she did just get really busy. I know this has happened to me before and I had to call back to get someone because she had completely spaced my call. But I for sure never had to go through what you are going through with getting a call back. My problem with the whole situation is that it would worry me as to the kind of care you are going to get when you need postop care. The last thing you want is to be left on your own trying to figure things out after surgery. I know for my PS both his nurses gave me their cell phone numbers so I could call or text anytime if I had any questions. This is the type of care and responsiveness we should expect when we are paying as much as we do for something, which so happens to be a surgery.

go with your gut. if things don't look good now, they aren't going to get any better. you did the right thing...don't worry about what your out of pocket now (yes, it sucks) but imagine what you're saving by saying adios now. you could be out of pocket a whole lot more by needing a revision due to shotty after care or poor PS workmanship. praise yourself for being in control. sh*t happens to everyone. use that blood work your next appt and i bet if you contacted the hotel you can get a full refund if not some. as for the swimsuits you discarded....i bet there are a ton available from us who would be happy to pay them forward. go and enjoy your trip....things will get better :)
