Oh wow. You look fantastic!
Your welcome, Dr. Guarino is amazing, you won't be disappointed.
Is the recovery almost the same as the C section recovery or worse? I've had 3 C sections
It is different, I thought it would be the same but I was wrong. With the c sections I had the pulling of the skin from my belly, here it is tight . I slept on my back for about a week and a half. Took pain pills for about as long. The pain wasn't too bad. The drains were the worst part, sort of in the way.
Ok thank you :)
It's hard to describe it, but if this helps I would do it all again, ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!
I know that the first couple of days after the C section it was hard to breathe at times, some pain, just overall uncomfortable and every day for a little better. But it was like those first 3 days felt looooooong lol
I know that it differs from person to person but I had 3 C sections so I think by the time I got to my 3rd I prettyuch knew what to do to help recovery like making sure I walked as much as possible. I'm so nervous! Lol
One last question. Being that they are pulling your skin down, does that mean my boobs are gonna be pulled down also? :0 I don't want them looking saggy
It won't do anything to your boobs, due to my weight loss, my boobs already were sagging. :)
Lol okay thanks. That was something my husband mentioned to me last night and I was like "I hadn't even thought about that" lol
Oh and thank you for taking time out to answer my questions :)
Does Dr. G give one drainage tube or two after surgery?
I had a 360, which is a tummy tuck in the front and tucking and liposuction in the back, I had 2 drains, I believe a regular tummy tuck, he uses one
Ok thank you :)
Anytime, I know I had a lot of questions too, if you have more don't hesitate to ask.
Oh wow. Thank you :) I do have more lol
What is his consultation like? My husband is probably going to put 3,000 down and finance the rest. What financing options does he have? Is it only care credit?
I had emailed his office and they told me that everything would be 5,700
First off, you will get into a gown, he comes in and will look look at your stomach area. He will tug and pull a little, he may look at you from behind (your back). Maybe draw some pictures, they will also take pictures from the front, back and sides, those will be the before pictures. He takes a lot of time during the consultation, he doesn't rush. I believe he only takes care credit, I did the same thing put money down and financed the rest
Thank you sweetie! It feels good being able to know what to expect before going. I'm gonna call on Monday to make an appointment to have consultation on April 22nd. Ugh so nervous. I've read so many different things regarding recovery, some people had a seemingly east recovery, some went through hell lol. I was just talking to a friend that had her tummy tuck like 8 years ago and she told me that her recovery was "easy breezy". I'm sooooo nervous about that part. How was your recovery? With the pain, swelling, etc
My recovery went very well, I was overly ambitious on my return to work day, I had surgery on Tuesday and wanted to be back the following Monday, pain and discomfort wise I could have, but I still had my drains. I was out an additional week. I felt more discomfort than actual pain. Just take it very easy and don't do too much too fast. The swelling is not too bad, the part I hated the most was the drains, they get in the way
Oh ok. Thank you so much. That was very helpful :)

After a c section I was very unhappy with how my lower abdomen was destroyed. I had tried for over 20 years by doing endless sit ups with absolutely no change. In 2012 I lost over 100 lbs and that weight loss added to my issues with my abdomen. A friend of mine, who had also lost a lot of weight as well was talking about her tummy tuck and how she loved her surgeon needless to say I was intrigued. I contacted her surgeon Dr. Edward Guarino in Allentown for a consultation and was immediately impressed with him, he spent a lot of time going over my situation and my options available. We decided to go with the circumference abdominalplasty, (360 tummy tuck). I was in surgery for several hours and felt discomfort but not pain afterward, I was able to go home the next day. Dr. Guarino was incredible, even though my surgery had just happened I was so pleased with the results so far, and every day it got better and better. I am now out 3 months out and am so happy I made the decision to do this, it looks amazing, I can't wait to show new body off when I wear my new 2 piece swimsuit in Florida in two months.

Welcome to the community and thank you for sharing.  I am happy for you and glad you are loving your results.

I am thinking about having my consultation with this doctor. Would you mind posting your before and after pics?
I don't have a before, but I can send you my after.
Ok perfect. Thank you!
I'm more nervous about the recovery more than the actual operation lol. I had 3 C Sections. Is it almost the same discomfort as the C section recovery?
