You look amazing. I read your last post about the swelling hopefully that goes down soon. I can't really tell from the pic. I think you look absolutely amazing. Your scar is really low too. Good luck getting your BB stitches out next week. Still wishing you a fast recovery.

Thank you! I'm hoping it gets a bit smaller. I managed to get my jeans on today. I had to use a hair tie around the button so it doesn't push on my stomach, but no pooch! I had extra room there. So weird! I also realized that I can wear yoga pants with just about any shirt. So awesome. No more pooch hiding! Haha.
Hopefully the belly button arches are removed as quickly as my tummy ones.

Looking awesome, girl! The good thing about belly button stitch removal is, because you're numb, you are not going to feel a THING!

I'm hoping it doesn't.. Haha. I'm starting to feel my muscles and am starting to bruise where I had lipo. Ouch.

Stitches removed!

Mom of big babies
I had my stitches removed yesterday. A simple cut and pull three times. It did pinch a bit, but our was quick. I go next week to get my belly button stitches out.
I now have the luxury of putting the scar cream on twice daily. I can't see my entire scar year, due to the swelling, so I have to dig for a small mirror... Haha.

Drain tubes came out today!

I just had my drain removed. The stitch holding it in place was the post that bothered me most. It did burn for a second or two, but it was a ten minute appointment.. literally! Next step is slowing down on the heavy painkillers so I can drive and then getting my stitches out on Monday (4 days from now).

I've heard that the drain coming out makes a huge difference in how you feel for the better. So did you get a look? How are you liking what you see so far?
May 4, 2016
The drain not being here is a lot better. Even with simply pulling up my garment. No tubes to worry about. Also, I can wear pants without a bulge in my leg! That's nice!
I posted pics the other day, but I'm kind of scared to look again! Haha. I'm still pretty swollen, but hoping to go down more...haha.

Omg you must feel TONS of relief after getting those drains out. I know I did :)

I do feel much better, but I'm wiped out! I went to Kmart with my husband. My first outing...for stretchy pants. Then, I went to see Dr. G...a good hour away. Maybe too much in one day... phew!
They said I'm moving really well and seem to be doing good.
Are you still in your knee-length garment? I want to know how long I'll be in this thing! Haha. It would not bother me so much if it didn't have the legs.

That's great! Well they put me in the tighter garment at two weeks post op. So I'm gonna be in this thing 24/7 for the next two weeks. I am now one month post op. I see him again on the 26th which is when I'm assuming that he will clear me for exercise etc..I'm most excited about being able to pick my 2 year up again :) :)

They give you a choice between the knee length one or the one that resembles a panty at the bottom. I chose a second knee length one which was 120. The skinmedica scar treatment that he gives is 65

Hopefully he clears you!
As for the garment...crap! I'm getting sick of unsnapping all these snaps already! I haven't had my period yet, but I imagine the garment will make it THAT much worse! I also don't like the knee length because it's already baggy above my knees and you can see it through my pants... Haha. And the price is a bit unexpected, too!

How are you going with that swelling? As you said, hopefully it will go down lots more.
May 8, 2016
Ugh! The swelling slowed down for a few days but, as I became more active, plus I got my period today, the swelling became VERY uncomfortable. I believe that I simply overdid it today. I even found myself unbuttoning the loose pants I had on... Haha. I can't believe how swollen I could get! Crazy!
