Just came back from the doctors this past weekend...
2 1/2 months (or something like that) in and I...
I meet with my doctor at the end of the month, which is a little after the 3 month mark. I have to fly to NY from NC, so it kind of makes it more difficult to meet at the 3 month mark.
I have absolutely no regrets about getting this done. I love it so much. My confidence is through the roof and I am so so so happy that I did it before I started my job. It had done wonders with my self image. Anyone having doubts about whether or not its worth it..just do it!! Find a great doctor with a great reputation and just do it! Don't let fear hold you back from having the happiness you've only dreamed of.

1 month post op. Wow! I can't believe how...
Wow! I can't believe how fast time flies. I had my one month post op visit with my doctor yesterday and had my microdermabrasion session as well, which felt great! I definitely think I'll be scheduling one each time I go for a check up because it really does make your skin feel amazing.
He said that about 85% of my swelling is down and that the rest will drop over the course of a year. He said the profile will pretty much stay the same, but that the tip of my nose will become much more defined and that the swelling in the bridge will come down as well. It doesn't look nearly as bad in person, but on pictures the swelling is way more pronounced. I'll post pictures of the front anyway, just so people can see how it looks one month out in pictures. My face looks red and gross because it was right after the microdermabrasion. There is also a little uneven swelling on the bridge because of the facial. That little bump usually isn't there.
All in all, I am beyond happy. I absolutely love it. Will post more pictures after my next appointment in 2 months!

Dr. Eric Joseph and his staff did absolutely everything in their power to make me feel comfortable and reassured. They completely rearranged their schedule to fit me in since I had time constraints. As for the actual results, Dr. J did MORE than he said he could. I couldn't be happier with the results. I respect Dr. J because he won't do procedures he doesn't agree with. If it doesn't think it is in your best interests or if he thinks it won't look good, he won't do it. He worked with me to develop the perfect nose FOR ME. Even the day of cast removal with all the swelling, I couldn't ask for me! I am so excited to see what it will look like after a year of healing. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Joseph for Rhinoplasty. Not only did he provide an excellent surgical experience, but he truly cares about his patients afterwards. He and his wife provided me with a makeup/care kit to deal with the unfortunate side effects after the cast is removed (bruising/swelling/greasy skin). They also offer a free microdermabrasion session after your one month checkup to refresh your skin. I can't praise this office enough. They care about their patients and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable each step of the way. I drove over 2 hours to have him do my surgery and am moving to NC next month and will have to come up to NJ for my checkups but it is worth every mile!! I couldn't imagine a better doctor !
