Still struggling
I hate reaching out but I feel like this is the only place to go. Has ANYONE come to ANY type of conclusion as to why this has been an issue to them? Like through counseling? I have been struggling with this for 3 years and it’s just a scar now. Please refrain from chiming in with “it’s just a scar, or get over it” it is obviously not that lesser of a deal.

Excision and struggling with severe depression
Hi, I was wondering if anyone reading this might reach out to talk? I got a tattoo on the outside of my wrist about 2 and half years ago and have gone thru hell and high water with removal. It has reaped havoc on my mental state to the point that I went thru with excision. I was happy with my decision at the time, but I am afraid that it may have not solved anything. I still oddly feel like I have the tattoo there. I can't explain the feeling. But it puts a deeply nauseous feeling in my gut that I can't get rid of. Almost one of fear. I feel like I've lost all of my self confidence and am a shadow of the person I used to be. I just want my life back. In whatever form that may be..

Tattoo Excision
Hey guys, I wanted to update you on my tattoo removal journey. After about 5 laser treatments (3 q-switch and 2 pico sure) without much movement, I ended up getting an excision last week. Pretty crazy stuff but I'm happy with the decision. I still have to get my stitches removed so I'll make sure to keep ya updated. Hope this helps someone out there. It's been a lonnnng 2 years with this thing and I'm happy to start the healing journey.
