Made the right decision!!

New update. Since my last review I didn't think anymore improvement was possible, and I even considered getting small implants. I tried to convince myself maybe my illness wasn't caused my my implants. After my post I had several friends remind me how they have notice a huge improvement in my energy levels and overall health. I now feel 100% certain I would not get implants again. It took some time and there were some ups and downs. Especially Bc I had my implants for approx. 11yrs. It takes some time to get use to your new/old body. But give yourself plenty of time to heal. I'm finally very satisfied with my results esp Bc I did not do a lift, have 2 children and went from a B cup to a 32DD-E (E after the birth of my 2nd child). I also love that I can wear clothing I couldn't wear when I had my implants without being gawked at. And I feel natural and confident. Now when I see women with implants it looks so un-natural, and I think to myself. Is that what people saw when they looked at me while I had my implants. Wanted people to know u may have ups and downs but it gets better and better each day. I now know I def made the right decision.

Thank you for your post. I've had 2 surgeries in 3 wks.. I had my implants removed 9 days ago. I had them for 17yrs with 2 contractures and a rupture the doctor found a strange fluid on the left that was contracted and sent it out to pathology and found that it was cancerous cells on the capsule and this only happens when you have implants. Thank God he felt something didn't look right... It's called ALCL non Hodgkins lymphoma and I have been told that the cure is removing implants and the capsules are the cure there are 165 cases known worldwide and I am 166 there's probably more if your doctor knows to test any fluid that shouldn't be there and I will be followed by an oncologist to make sure this is gone. I now will adjust to the new saggy boobs but they are healthy and that's what matters most. I never post anything but I can relate to what you were saying so much. Thank you.

Thank you so much for sharing, I'm getting mine out Sept 26, I've had implants for 17 years...

Glad you didn't do it. I got my implants 4 years ago and have an explant consult in two weeks. 6 months after getting the implants I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, and 1 year later, psoriasis. Also one size is a little bigger because the Dr didn't compensate that I was different sizes. I haven't been happy with them since I got them.

I d he same thing. I see the women with implants and I get a PTSD response. I remember the discomfort and actually have a physical response. Not to mention, they do look silly now right? Glad you stuck it out and stayed natural. You look lovely. I'm 10 months post explant and a little over three months out from a lift to remove extra skin. I am so happy I did it. Now I'm just waiting for my scars to keep fading. Time, right? Congrats to you. To not an easy road to travel, but the other side is so much better. It's empowering to love yourself for YOU.

Got a breast implant removal over 2yrs ago now. Wanted to post some update pics and update on how I feel now. The denting in nipple area has improved A LOT but it is not gone completely. Some days I'm glad I got my implants removed as I def feel they were too big but lately I've been considering getting smaller implants. I had a mild mixed connective tissue disease that sparked me to feel the implants may have been the cause and felt after my 2nd child that my implants were too big on my petite frame. Not sure if getting my implants removed has helped much with the MCTD. I still have fatigue same as it was prior. I do notice my joint pain has improved. Not sure if it's a result of the explant or not. Will be forty next year and still being "younger" I don't know that I want to live my younger years with deflated dented breasts. I had revision surgery to try and improve the dent but with out an implant to push the area out there won't be any further improvement. I haven't made up my mind yet. It strongly considering a small implant. Posted are some updates pics so people can see how I've healed after over 2yrs. As you can see in the photos my left breast (right side in pic) looks awful still. If they both looked like my right side it would be easier to live with the removal but even tho my breasts were completely symmetrical bf my implants they clearly are not the same after the removal. I'm not sure why the shape of my left breast has changed so drastically.

You look awesome ! I would be thrilled with your results ! Have you considered fat grafting for your left breast ? Take care !
July 4, 2017
Thank you. I have thought about it but I've heard mixed reviews on it. Have you seen or heard of anyone doing the fat graft with long term success?
July 5, 2017
Arfff no. The risk of lumps freaks me out ! And you never know how much fat your body will retain. From what I heard/saw, it is better to have several small transfers.

I wonder if a slight cresent lift of your areola would help the dented nipple problem. I'm having my silicone under muscle implants removed in a couple weeks. I fear the same outcome with my nipples because my 29 yr old implants were implanted under my nipple. And I notice slight denting from time to time even while implants are still in. My doc says I wont need a lift but I am really worried about nipple indention after explant.

Wanted to let u know the nipple has improved even more since my last post and I'm happy to say I'm now glad I removed my implants. You are making the right decision

Thank you for the encouragment! Your final results are BEAUTIFUL!!! I sure hope mine will be nice also.

Just curious what you decided to do?
August 20, 2017
I decided 100% against doing implants. I've had some ups and downs after having my implants for so long it took awhile to get use to them not being there and for my skin to tighten up. But I am now satisfied with the results

Looked into it and there's no guarantee it will last esp if you loose weight. But I've had some more improvement. So I'm glad I gave myself more time to heal
