After my third child I gave myself two years to get back into shape. Iost all my baby weight and now I'm a size 4. I did everything by the books but my diastasis recti with a hernia was beyond natural repair. I have decided to have a tt. Hopefully this will help alleviate back issues and pelvic pain. I have decided to go with a no drain tummy tuck. My dermatologist referred me to Dr Pollack. I felt comfortable after ready on the technique and the fact that him and his dad were the original pioneers of the no drain technique. I'm going to need all the support from this group!

So I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I have started to shop for supplies and had a question for those who had the NO DRAIN tt. Will I drain in any shape or form?

Breathe!! You can do this, and once you are over to the flatside you will be so happy you did it. Just remember this is a long recovery, I'm almost 3 week PO and have to keep reminding myself. Make sure you will have care at home for at least 4 days, I needed help getting up from recliner, etc. Stay on top of the pain by taking your pills as directed on schedule, the first couple of days you will need them. This is not the time to show our super woman status. All in all the pain is doable, the most painful for me was the muscle repair. I had a large diastasis and hernia repair. Each day will get easier just remember that, and start taking your stool softeners. You got this girl, keep us posted.

Thank you Steph! I need all the advice out there. I'm in the same boat with the large diastasis and hernia repair. Hubby will be home for the first week. I have friends on standby for the second week. So I have the support!
