39 Year Old, Mum of 3, Much Desired Breast Implants.

I have always had small breasts, but they had never bothered me until after finishing breast feeding my third child. My breasts never returned to their former size and due to weight loss I had a lot of excess skin too. I was very self conscious of them and it started to upset me. It was a few years after this that I started to seriously consider breast augmentation surgery. I discovered Mr Ross’ website whilst looking for surgeons in the North of England and it stood out to me because it immediately felt caring and honest. It went into great depth about the procedures and I also found looking at the before and after photos really helpful. It took me 3 more years of frequently looking at the website to finally take the huge step (for me) and contact Mr Ross’ practice. My initial consultation went very well. I was extremely nervous, but determined and Mr Ross sensed this. However, he soon made me feel able to talk to him about my hopes and how he could achieve this. It is comforting how professional Mr Ross is, he listens and then tells you what he thinks is possible, without any false hopes. The discussion was ‘technical’ at times, but he always used the before and after photos on his website to show what he meant, so I never felt that I didn’t understand what he was talking about. I never wanted big breasts, just a similar look to what I had when wearing a padded bra and Mr Ross understood what I meant. I had another consultation two weeks later and that evening I spent almost 3 hours at the practice either talking to Mr Ross or one of his team to discuss what I wanted. I never once felt rushed. My surgery was then booked for a few weeks later, but when I was being indecisive about which size implants to choose, Mr Ross was very patient and let me go away to take more time to decide. Patients are able to contact Mr Ross or one of his staff via email if they have a query or question and I think this is invaluable. I finally decided to have 200cc anatomical B-Lite implants as they are lighter and appealed to me because I like to run/workout and I'm not used to having any breasts!
My surgery went very well and I recovered quickly. The results have far outlived my initial hopes, I am so very happy with my new breasts, I only wish I had contacted Mr Ross years ago. The post op after care was good, and to return to Mr Ross’ practice with the new confidence this procedure has given me has been a wonderful experience. I will be forever grateful to Mr Ross and his team, I hope they know how much their work means to people like me.
