WORTH IT
I did extensive research before deciding to go ahead with this procedure. I had consultations with 3 top surgeons in total and decided that Mr Ross was by far the best.
He discussed all the pros and cons of the procedure, going under or above the muscle and also the various shaped implants. I was convinced I would need to have a mastopexy (uplift) and also that I would need to go under the muscle due to my smallish frame. He advised me that, although I could decide for myself which I would prefer, it would not be necessary for either and a standard breast augmentation would give me my desired look. I am so glad I listened to him as it has.
Mr Ross also highlighted the fact that one breast was slightly smaller than the other and that my left nipple over projected compared to the right. He therefore advised two different sized implants in order to try and even out the size difference plus a less projected implant in the left in order to elevate the nipple slightly higher. Neither of the previous consultations highlighted this at all and only confirms what a perfectionist Mr Ross is.
We went through a large number of before and after photographs showing what he envisaged my breasts would look like post op.
I decided to go ahead and had the operation about a month later. Everything went perfectly and I was up and about later that day although I did take it very easy for the first couple of weeks. They healed very quickly with very little discomfort and with very little scarring that couldn't even be seen without lifting the breast. This has now disappeared to nothing.
Throughout the whole process Mr Ross was amazing. I even emailed him whilst he was on holiday with a question before the op and he responded the same day. I cannot recommend him enough, he is a fantastic perfectionist and I am absolutely thrilled with the final results.
