54 Year Old Fighting Age & Menopause

My family are all the same shape, I would describe as barrel shaped so was already fighting genes. Lived on my own for 10+ years and although I went to the gym, eating habits were mixed and wine habit was serious! Over the last 5 years Ive been much more active and eaten very healthily following meeting "Mr Right" I average 6 miles a day just living + go to the gym 3 times a week and often walk or cycle at weekends but weight was not shifting. Hated looking at myself in the mirror and was struggling to keep the motivation to eat well as I didnt see any benefit.
I met with Mr Ross 12 months ago & he did his best to put me off surgery to the exten it took me a year to make the decision.
Best thing Ive done - 12 week post op and already very happy with the results and there is every chance they will get better. I am watching what I eat and have the incentive to do this now as all my clothes fit so much better & I have got my confidence back - I'll never be a size 10 but am a very happy 12-14 and no longer ashamed to look in the mirror.
Mr Ross and his team have been wonderful, the Alexander Hospital was an excellent place to go.
