Six months post op!
Wow, six months has flown by and most days I don’t even remember the fact that I had a tummy tuck. My abdomen is Getting some feeling back which is really weird because for six months I didn’t feel a thing and now I can feel sensations. My scar is dark and wide, I scar horribly and tend to have keloids but I invested in some seriously expensive scar steps in hopes of avoiding poor scarring. So who knows what it would have looked like without them. I feel great! Just waiting on my scar to lighten...not too happy with my love handles, but I can wait and see about maybe getting those fixed in the future ????.

Your shape is great - no need to do anything surgical to love handles - you've been through a lot already. I am doing the same surgery on December 17 so I appreciate you sharing your journey on here. I know it's not instant gratification so it is good to see progress and just know that it's a waiting game of a few months post surgery before it looks good. I have diastasis recti and umbilical hernia so that is all getting fixed at same time, as well as switching out my breast implants (12 years old).

You wouldn’t be able to stand up straight for weeks if it was. Or the stiches would rip open, right??

What scar stuff did you use? From my section I also had keloids and would like to try and avoid that.

You look great! Would love to see 1 year update. I’m scheduled on the 19th of December. I’m similar frame to you and am debating lipo if the flanks.
