The third picture is an updated photo - me at 15 days. Healed up alright, but I will need an operation to unite the labia on each side where I broke a stitch. My Dr has offered to perform the surgery for free.

I am concerned that two weeks into the healing process my right labia has split into two distinct flaps of skin, and that they will not rejoin. is there there any chance they might still heal as one?
Also, does this, in general, look like a botched procedure. Ive had 2 weeks of healing and it is still generally very scary to look down there and I cry often.

Im sorry this happened. How many procedures had your doc done before you?
Mine did not go perfectly either.

That's a great question. He claimed to perform around one a month. My procedure was complicated tho because I had excessive bleeding that proved very hard to stop. He had never come across such bleeding before.

You should go see a different doctor ASAP. You might need antibiotics. I'm no expert, but is that not yellow pus on your labia incisions? You might be infected. Also, you will most likely want to get a revision surgery once this is healed by a different surgeon who is very experienced in labiaplasty and has good reviews. ALWAYS check a surgeons reviews online and make sure they are good. OR try to find a gynaecologist who is also experienced with labiaplasty. Gynaecologists don't charge as much as plastic surgeons. So sorry you have to deal with this :( trust me I know how you feel. I've been through it too.

Thank you for the tips! I will seek a second opinion for the corrective procedure. Also seeing my gyno was good. She told me there was no infection and actually recommended staying with the same surgeon for the corrective procedure because he knows my history best.

It doesn't look anything like mine. I had mine done months ago and it looks pretty wonderful. Yours looks like it hurts.
Hugs!
