The hole that was in the middle is gone. The incision is flat now. I guess it was just healing from the inside out. It's taking forever though!

Thank you! Yes better late than never. I just hate all the waiting. Nothing compared to the wait you have though. Hope your feeling well and these 3 months pass quickly for you!

Thank you lovely! I'm actually on my way to see my doctor right now. She takes out my drain today and is giving me an implant to stuff my bra with! Haha I've been looking forward to this day all week!

4 weeks!

I'm now 4 weeks and 3 days. I had my first follow up with my ps 3 days ago. He says they look perfect and he feels my left incision is closed and healing well. (So relieved!). If you haven't seen my earlier post my left incision opened about 1/4" when I was 2 weeks post op. His office had me put neosporin and gauze to it. It remained open and had drainage for 2 weeks. There is no longer drainage but it's still very sore. He said I am still allowed to exercise and swim in 2 more weeks. I asked about how I should be massaging, and he said he didn't feel massaging was necessary. I'm sleeping on my side with no pain. Morning boob is gone. No more sharp pain yea! When I walk they are starting to get a little bounce to them. I can finally push them together. My R side was always a little bigger than my left so we did 2 different size implants to try to even out the size. We did 385 to my R and 415 to my L. I do feel my L is noticeably bigger. Maybe we shouldn't have done 30cc difference. With clothes on, I feel you can't tell, which is what I wanted. However sometimes it does make me wish I would have gone a little bigger. Over all I am happy with them. I do feel the size is a very natural look for my body.

I'm glad to hear your incision has closed up. Around 3 weeks my right one looked like it opened up a little bit at the corner and the whole thing got red and looked a little infected. My PS had me send a pic of it to them and they put me on an antibiotic. I haven't had any drainage and it is started to look better. But of course I'm still worried! They didn't tell me to put anything on it but I've been keeping it clean and putting Vaseline on it to keep it moist. I've been stressing about this and it's great to talk to people who understand my fears! I love my boobs and would probably cry like a baby if one or the other had to come out! Anyway thanks for posting about your experience it gives me hope!!

Yay! I'm 4 weeks as well and I can finally sleep on my side. It's so wonderful. Though it's easier to sleep on my right rather than my left. I'm glad your incision hole is healing up! I hope you have a speedy recovery and no more drainage.

Three weeks!

Well actually it's 3 weeks and 2 days lol. My boobs look the same to me as they did at 2 weeks. Morning boob is still there but less pain. The zingers are not as frequent and definitely don't hurt as bad. Nipple sensitivity is a lot better, thank God! I've always been a side sleeper, and I've been able to comfortably sleep on my side the past week. My left incision is still draining :( today is officially a week of drainage. I called my ps 4 days ago, they said to put neosporin and gauze on it. I change out the gauze 4 times a day and each time there is about a pea size of light yellow drainage. When I dab it with tissue, it's clear with a yellow tint. I really wish it would heal and stop oozing. It makes me so nervous. I have stopped massaging since it started doing this, afraid it would make it worse. I see my ps in 5 days for a 4 week check up (my first check up since the day after surgery). I hope he has advice on how to make this heal faster. I feel like this is slowing down my recovery.

I'm sorry you going through this too! I was so worried when I first noticed it but when I talked to the nurse at my ps office, she didn't seem that concerned. I guess this is kinda common. I was hoping they would want me to go in so they could see them. Is yours still open and draining? Did they tell you neosporin and gauze?
June 5, 2016
I'm sorry for the both of us! My incisions look gross! Right is worse than my left! Yes they still are draining a little like a yellow/green tint, expesially when I take the gauze off to change it! I was told gauze and Neosporin too! Can't tell if it's helping or not! He also told me to do half peroxide and half water 2 times a day to clean along w my antiseptic wash they gave me before my surgery! So that's what I've been doing!

Oh wow. I bet the peroxide hurts! They didn't mention a specific way to clean them. I've just been using regular soap in the shower. My boobs are now kinda bouncy when I walk, and each time I step it feels like that incision is ripping. Or when I reach for something with that arm I can feel the incision pulling. I've seen some butterfly tape things in first aid kits before. They are shaped like a capital "i" and hold skin together when you get a cut. I've been thinking about trying that to keep the incision closed, maybe I won't get the pulling/ripping feeling when I walk. I'm so sad my incision is still open. I was hoping to swim with my kids at some point this summer.

It actually doesn't hurt at all they way they have been feeling it was almost a relief! This morning when I woke up my incisions felt a lil better not drawing as much! But I was in sooo much pain last night felt like my boobs were tight and hard as rocks! I was so scared last night! I completely understand what ur saying with the feeling of them ripping apart! It's the oddest feeling and painful. My boobs don't bounce yet but they r getting softer to touch! We're heading to the store to see if I can find protein shots(PS recommended them) and I'll look for the butterfly tape maybe that will help out! I'll keep checking up on u feel better and hopefully now it's happy healing to us both!

You poor things that's the last thing you want to deal with when your trying to recover from everything else. I hope you all heal up fast.

Thank you! I just read through your review. Yours look so good! Part of me wishes I would have gone with moderate plus instead of hp. I'm hoping with more time they will settle into a more natural look. I think the 400cc looks great on you! I hope your recovery continues to go smoothly!
June 5, 2016
That's sweetie!! I appreciate that! A LOT! :) they r feeling a little better today but I'm not pushing it just cleaning them regularly and relaxing today and tomorrow!

How did your appointment go today? I hope your incision is healing up!
User Avatar

My appointment went good I guess. It was 4 minutes long lol. He basically came in, looked at them and said they looked perfect, then asked how I was feeling. I told him I felt good I was just concerned about my left incision which had slightly opened 2 weeks ago. I told him I had called his office and they told me to put neosporin and gauze. He then looked at the incision and said it had closed and was healing good. I asked about working out and swimming thinking I may need more time to heal and he said I will be ok for both in 2 weeks. I asked how I should be massaging, he said he felt it wasn't necessary. I see him again in 4 weeks. I will post pics and an update later. Thanks for checking in on me! How are you feeling?
