L incision didn't post

4 weeks!

I'm now 4 weeks and 3 days. I had my first follow up with my ps 3 days ago. He says they look perfect and he feels my left incision is closed and healing well. (So relieved!). If you haven't seen my earlier post my left incision opened about 1/4" when I was 2 weeks post op. His office had me put neosporin and gauze to it. It remained open and had drainage for 2 weeks. There is no longer drainage but it's still very sore. He said I am still allowed to exercise and swim in 2 more weeks. I asked about how I should be massaging, and he said he didn't feel massaging was necessary. I'm sleeping on my side with no pain. Morning boob is gone. No more sharp pain yea! When I walk they are starting to get a little bounce to them. I can finally push them together. My R side was always a little bigger than my left so we did 2 different size implants to try to even out the size. We did 385 to my R and 415 to my L. I do feel my L is noticeably bigger. Maybe we shouldn't have done 30cc difference. With clothes on, I feel you can't tell, which is what I wanted. However sometimes it does make me wish I would have gone a little bigger. Over all I am happy with them. I do feel the size is a very natural look for my body.

Three weeks!

Well actually it's 3 weeks and 2 days lol. My boobs look the same to me as they did at 2 weeks. Morning boob is still there but less pain. The zingers are not as frequent and definitely don't hurt as bad. Nipple sensitivity is a lot better, thank God! I've always been a side sleeper, and I've been able to comfortably sleep on my side the past week. My left incision is still draining :( today is officially a week of drainage. I called my ps 4 days ago, they said to put neosporin and gauze on it. I change out the gauze 4 times a day and each time there is about a pea size of light yellow drainage. When I dab it with tissue, it's clear with a yellow tint. I really wish it would heal and stop oozing. It makes me so nervous. I have stopped massaging since it started doing this, afraid it would make it worse. I see my ps in 5 days for a 4 week check up (my first check up since the day after surgery). I hope he has advice on how to make this heal faster. I feel like this is slowing down my recovery.

Dr. Gallegos is the PS I chose to perform my surgery. I have had many friends use him and have been happy with their results. He was very nice, and answered all my questions. He never made me feel rushed or stupid, even though I was completely unprepared and didn't have any clue about breast augmentation other than I wanted bigger boobs lol.
