Hi Everyone,
I am currently 25 years old and 5'9, my weight fluctuates between 145 and 159lbs. Right now my bra size is either a 34B or 32C depending on the bra. After 25 years I am finally taking the plunge and getting a breast augmentation and I am so so excited. I have known since I was about 15 that I would one day get a BA. My mother was very small chested even after having two children she was still an A cup, so I have always known that I wouldn't naturally grow the size of breasts I want.
After years of telling my friends that I'm getting a BA I finally decided that 2017 is the year and made it one of my New Years resolutions. My family is extremely close and my mom has had her boobs done twice so it wasn't hard or awkward letting them know that I am planning on getting this procedure done, they are supportive of my choice. Because my mom has had hers done twice by two different surgeons she has been a big help. I called last week and set up my first consultation with the surgeon who did her second BA and is one of the best surgeons in the state. When I first called to set up my consult the receptionist told me they were booked until early May, so I made an apt for their first available opening that week. Lucky for me they had a cancellation so my consultation is now this Friday the 31st. I'm very excited and nervous. I've posted a list of questions I've come up with along with a few wish pictures that I think would look good on my tall thin frame.
Do any of you have any other questions I should ask during consultation??

Surgery booked & before pics
Hi everyone, so I had my consultation a few weeks ago and everything went great. I wasn't planning on booking my surgery after my first consultation, I made my deposit and scheduled my surgery for May 15th. I am so excited I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas. My surgeon and his staff were so wonderful and knowledgeable that I knew I wanted to use him for my surgery. After taking my measurements we talked about my goals and I explained that I wanted my breasts to be somewhat modest. I want my breasts to fit my body frame; Because I'm so tall I don't feel like my breasts fit my body type. The surgeon and his nurse explained that they rarely use saline implants and would highly recommend using silicon to achieve my goals. I was able to try on several dozers and because of my frame the surgeon recommended that I go with high profile, right now I'm between 275cc hp and 300cc hp. After reading so many reviews on here I'm worried about going to small and later regretting my choice. I still have time to decide what size I want, my pre-op is scheduled for May 1st and I'll have to finalize my choice then. Have any of you regretted going to small? Hopefully I make the correct choice. I've attached some before pics for reference.

Hi! My stats are similar to yours, so I'm wondering what size implant you chose?

Hi! I had my pre-op last Monday and I choose to have 300cc in one breast and 325cc in the other to correct slight asymmetry :)

Thanks! I'm excited to see how yours turn out. There aren't a lot of tall girls on here. My preop is June 1st, surgery is the 8th. Good luck!!

Aw thank you! I'm starting to get really anxious! But that's really exciting! Do you know what size/profile you are getting yet? I had a really hard time finding other tall girls on here too!

So far I've chosen 400 cc mod plus. I'm 5'10, 162 lbs and I'm currently a small B hoping to be a small D. I feel fairly confident in my size choice, but get worried after reading other people's stories that I need to go bigger. I was happy to see you had the same wish size as me, and a smaller implant (you also have more breast tissue) so I'm thinking we would have similar (size) results.

Yea I had the same thoughts after reading a bunch of stories about people regretting not going bigger! It worried me too; hope fully I won't feel like they are too small once I have them. I think that size will fit your body really well based on your stats, I really like the way Mod plus looks! I would have gone mod plus if my chest wasn't so narrow.

5 days to go!
So my surgery date is right around the corner. I officially have less than a week before my surgery date (5 days and counting). This week is my finals week for school, so I've been pretty consumed with studying in addition to working full time. I'm actually thankful that this week is my finals week otherwise it would seem like time is standing still and I would be obsessing over my upcoming surgery more than I already have been haha.
I had my pre-op appointment last Monday morning, and up until this point I hadn't taken anyone with me to my consultation. I didn't want any outside options from my boyfriend, friends or family clouding my judgment and giving their opinions about how I want to look or the results I'm going for. I did let my mom come to my pre-op apt since she is taking the day off work for my surgery and will be the one taking me to my surgery and taking care of me that day. I wanted her to be able to hear all of the details directly from my surgeon and his nurse. During this appointment the nurse took my before photos, gave me all my prescriptions to fill at my pharmacy and I tried on sizers again to finalize my implant choice.
Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of myself trying on sizers, I was too busy talking and completely forgot! But I was almost certain from the time of my first consultation that I would be choosing a HP implant due to how narrow my chest is. I love the look of Mod+ implants that I've seen on here but for my body I think it would give me too much side boob. I ultimately decided on 300cc hp silicon, I'm getting 325cc in one breast to correct a slight asymmetry I have.
Since my pre-op apt I've been off all meds including birth control, no alcohol, energy drinks and herbal teas. The only thing I'm taking is 10000mg of vitamin C 2x per day. I really wish I could drink wine haha, but I know once I have my new boobies it'll be worth it. I picked up all my prescriptions which were surprisingly a lot less expensive than I anticipated. I also bought a few sports bras at Nordstrom rack for after surgery since I'll be living in them for awhile. I don't think I'll be doing another update until after surgery.

How exciting for you! Thought you might find some of our Breast Implant Forums helpful. Glad your mom can help you based on her experience. Looking forward to your updates!
