Doctors had been advising me for years that I should probably consider a breast reduction. I was always hesitant because I did not want to undergo any type of surgery. A friend of mine underwent a breast reduction. She convinced me that it was probably a good idea that I do so as well. I am currently five days post surgery. The first three days were very difficult as my body did not handle the Anastasia and narcotic medication very well. I was very sick and slept away three days. However I am feeling better today and I definitely noticed the pressure off of my neck and back.

I had my surgery on Monday and today is Friday. I am feeling much more human today. I was able to take a shower without feeling uncomfortable. I'm happy with my results so far. I'm hoping that the discoloration and the unevenness and swelling go away soon.

Day 4...the worst is over! The swelling will eventually go away, scars fade and you will be so thrilled with your new smaller breasts! I couldn't wait to go out and buy new shirts to wear without having to find a bra with straps that I could hide! 3 months post surgery! SO Happy with my results!! Happy healing!

3-months post surgery. Swelling gone. Breasts feeling soft and more natural. Nipple sensation better than pre-surgery! Firmness has settled a bit. Thrilled with the results! Wish I would have done this 10 years ago! I can't say enough good things about the decision to do this!!

Thanks! I had a few discouraging set backs but all caused my my error. My steristrips were bad and I should have taken them off but didn't so I got a superficial infection. That is taken care of and then I noticed I had a stitch sticking out of my side which was annoyingly painful so I had my boyfriend cut what was sticking out now I feel so much better.

I have a question for you....I'm due to have my surgery in March and I was wondering do you think I would be able to function enough to continue school online....I'll be home during my recovery, no strenuous work whatsoever

Everyone is different. I work in an office job and I noticed that using my computer makes my arms rub on my sides near the end of my surgical ones. It's actually become quite painful. I'm helping with a little rest it will go away. But I would say just do what feels comfortable :)

Great thank you.....if all else fails, I'll have somebody type my papers for me, did you get a free nipple graft?
February 5, 2015
I did. I also had liposuction under my arms. It's mostly sore and uncomfortable. Good luck :)

I was thinking about the total mommy makeover too, I know they said I'd lose nipple sensation, so I think somehow I can get over that, but I think I've been watching too much you tube....They have me scared my nipple will fall off : /

Aw I'm sure it won't! I've yet to find anyone that has had the surgery that's unhappy with it. I'm going on 3 weeks post op and I'm thrilled and I'm no where near healed! I can't wait for summer!!!

Congratulations they look great. Did you have to have the nipple graft? I am a 36J and at my consultation the Dr. Said that I would have to get that. Just wondering if anyone had that and regained their nipple sensation. Waiting to to see if I get approved from insurance.
January 28, 2015
I did. I already have the sensation back. The anesthesia brought on my period and sore nipples with it. The doctor told me that was great and that I wintbhave any issues with my sensation.
