6 week post op check

$10,000
I had my 6 week post op check up and the doctor says I am healing nicely and that my scars look good. I've been using Mederma PM every night. I have to say I'm very glad I had the surgery. It's made me less self conscious. The support has been great from people on this site. I would recommend this surgery to anyone with large breasts!

Nurse called me back
Leochick875February 5, 2015
The nurse called me back and I explained to her how underneath my breasts were red and swollen and raw and how my nipple had separated about a centimeter probably from the swelling. She was very calm and she told me to wash it with antibacterial soap and water not to cover it with anything, to put some bacitracin on the wounds and to rest up for the day.
I have to say after the shower and the neosporin I'm feeling much better.

Angry scars and an open wound
Leochick875February 5, 2015
I had my surgery on the 19th and everything went well. However since I've gone back to work I've noticed that the sports bra that I wear seem to irritate my scar. It's become quite painful. Not unbearable pain, but quite uncomfortable. I noticed that my wound has separated on my nipple area about a centimeter in length. Because it was 4 o'clock in the morning I didn't call my surgeon but I did look up questions and answers on this site. I found that this has happened to several other people and that the surgeons that they used did not seem to be concerned about it. I am currently waiting for my surgeon to call me back however I was wondering if anyone else has had this situation happened?
