Almost six months post-op and I'm very pleased with the way these have settled. Am sizing around the 30E, 32DD range.

Healing well
I've been using the Bioderm silicon strips for six days, wearing them almost 24 hours a day. Still have sutures that are noticeable to the touch under skin, but I know I must be patient! Anyone transition from silicon strips to a liquid scar product such as Scaraway?

Hi would you be able to post more pics?
ORIGINAL POST
I've wanted breast implants for as long as I can...
I've wanted breast implants for as long as I can remember. In 2013, at age 32, I consulted with Dr. DeLuca. Although I live in the NY Metro area, I zeroed in on him as my preferred provider - his years of experience and impressive gallery both speak for themselves.
At the time, Dr. DeLuca diagnosed a mild degree of ptosis (saggy breasts), and indicated that I would require not only implants, but also mastopexy to achieve my desired outcome. We discussed my lifestyle, family plans, and came to the conclusion that this was not the time for me to undergo the procedure. I will never forget what he said: "I can perform this surgery now, and it will be a home run. Come back to me after you've had children, and it'll be a grand slam."
Now, obviously he could have recommended I go ahead with surgery, taken my $10,000, and would have probably been able to squeeze me for a revision a few years later. The fact that he advised against the procedure at the time, especially when I didn't have a timeline for a family, speaks to his integrity.
Fast-forward nearly four years later, and I'm the mother of a two and a half year old who I breastfed for 26 months. You can imagine how deflated my breasts were - yikes! I went back to Dr. DeLuca at 2 months cessation, and we scheduled the surgery for two months later. Torn between 400cc and 450cc, Dr. DeLuca and his staff helped me come to my own conclusion: 400cc was more appropriate for my frame and lifestyle. For reference, I'm 5'4" and 112 lbs. Dr. DeLuca explained that I would require a round implant to achieve the full C/baby D breast I was looking for, and after doing some research, I'm quite pleased with that choice from both an aesthetic and health perspective (anatomical-shaped breast implants may shift and affect the appearance of the bust, while shifting of a round implant will not).
My surgery was uneventful. The entire staff at the surgical center demonstrated a warm, pleasant bedside manner that put me at ease from the moment I walked in. The last thing I remember was being wheeled into the OR, then waking up in recovery! I was up and walking around at home that evening, and only took the prescribed pain medication for three days. The worst part of the whole process was shaking off the grogginess of the anesthesia!
While I realize breast implants may take as long as a year to settle into their "final resting place," I fell in love with my results at first sight. As a personal trainer, dietitian, my physique is my calling card, and I finally feel that my bust matches the rest of my body. My breasts are lifted, the appearance of my nipples is improved, and, barely two weeks out, the implants are already beginning to feel like my own.
I've just seen the incisions yesterday at my post-op appointment and they're healing beautifully. Dr. DeLuca's nurse advised that the "stick" part of the lollipop incision may feel a bit lumpy as sutures begin to dissolve. I look forward to reporting back on the anatomical silicon sheets I've ordered from BioDermis to aid in the prevention of scarring.
I can't speak highly enough about my experience with Dr. DeLuca, and I'm sure you'll see my before and after pics in his gallery once I'm fully healed!
