So I stopped wearing the strips around my nipples and I just use the scar gel because the strips kept falling off and it was annoying. I have a cyst or scar tissue under my left nipple which kind of distorts the shape and makes it face a little upward, not so badly but I can tell and I can feel it. I hope it goes away. Sometimes I still feel the shooting pains in my nipples that feel like electric shocks. Like nerves reconnecting. But that's normal. I've got more of the feeling back around the sides of my boobs that used to be numb. My nipples have a lot more sensitivity back but they aren't like they were before. They used to be super sensitive. Oh be prepared that when you flex, They will go a weird shape. It's different for everyone. I don't regret getting them done. The only thing I wish Is that I went a little bigger lol. Even though I have 550!! So don't be afraid to go a larger size. They fit my frame perfectly. Oh and Dr. Deluca is awesome and so are his staff. Highly recommend.

Update!
So I haven't posted In a while so I figured I'd add an update. At first I questioned myself why I did this! They were like two melons strapped to my chest and I thought I went too big! I shouldn't have been thinking that way because I was so early! (Shout out to BOOBASAURUSREX for the support) lol. You have to give yourself time to heal and settle. I'm only just over a month and I think they look great! Even fairly natural! I kind of wish I went a tad bigger! Can you believe it? I'm really happy with the results and this is probably one of the best decisions I ever made for myself.
So I've been wearing silicone strips on the lollipop scar. Does anyone have any tips on keeping them on!?
Under my left nipple on the incision is a bit of car tissue. I'm massaging it to try to make it smaller! It feels like a lump. I did email the nurse freaking out, thinking it was capsular contracture and she said to not worry and keep massaging. It does just feel like scar tissue.
The only other concern is when I flex my chest muscles the implants look weird!! Does anyone else have that??? They kind of take on a different shape... When I'm relaxed they look normal.
Overall I'm really happy.

You look fabulous! Looks like you're healing great! Did you get 500 or 550? Also, do you mind saying you're weight/height? I am scheduled to get a lift and implant replacement 7/7/17. I am leaning between 450-500ccs. Also, please let us know if you like you silicone strips. I am also worry about scarring. Thanks for your answers in advance! Happy Healing!!

I got 550. I'm about 145 and I'm 5'8. I love the strips!! My doctor said within a year the scars should barley be noticeable. I'm so excited for you! You're so close.

Hi. I read that if you clean the area with rubbing alcohol (or maybe it was the strips) that they stay on for days.
With regard to flexing the muscle, if you had the implant inserted under the muscle, they are always going to move as this is what is holding them. I suppose there are always tradeoffs. Just be mindful before you lift weights at the gym. Im 6 months post op now and i tried to do a pull down the other day and nearly hurt myself. You just have to remain aware of what you can and cant do moving forwards. They will look fantastic when they drop. Patience :)

Thanks for sharing your story! I honestly understand how difficult it is finding the right surgeon, I have gone to multiple consultations and I'm currently leaning towards Dr. Deluca. So reading this helps me make my final decision :)
Also how is your nipples healing up?? Can you please update? Best wishes!!

Just over 2 weeks
It's been two weeks now. I have an appointment tomorrow with my Dr. to get the sutures removed (I think). Some things to note is the pain that I had on the side of my right breast is no more! It was extremely painful. I've been religiously wearing the strap which I hate. It's so hard to cover it up when I want to go out so I won't miss it. I'm also sick of the surgical bra! I hope he says I can stop wearing them both tomorrow. They've started to settle a lot but I can tell they have a lot more to do. I'm happy with the results so far. I bought some bralettes. I would have never been able to wear these pre surgery due to the lack of support in them. The ones I got are all without underwire. I can't wait to wear them. I miss lying on my stomach. I've also gained 10+ pounds. Can't wait to be cleared for the gym. Here are some pictures.

Thank you! I am really starting to love them :) wow I thought you were further from 4 months :). I still feel really firm but definitely softer than day 1. I think the thing I'm most excited for is for them to be squishy! How long did you take to start feeling soft? And right?? I love the keyhole style!
