Progress?
I think my scars are looking pretty good but after taking these side pictures I realized how much more they need to drop (they definitely don't look so weirdly shaped from the front). One isn't too too bad so I'm hoping the other will catch up soon. They've also gotten somewhat softer but I'd say barely...on the bright side I've been able to wear bras now for about a week (maybe I should go back to wearing the strap at night to help them drop?) and can start usin stuff for scar treatment today. I'm also cleared for cardio and lower body workouts.

I confidently booked my surgery with Dr. Deluca and I couldn't be any happier so far. Not only is he an awesome surgeon but his staff and the staff at the surgery center he uses also took amazing care of me throughout the entire process. Everyone was very helpful and truly cared about my well-being.
For some stats: I'm 24, no kids, 5'2, and was a small 32B. We discussed sizing and I showed him wish pics and made it clear that I wanted to go big but still somewhat natural aka not so big they would be disproportionate looking on me. He said he'd try to do 375cc mod+ implants which is the size I ultimately wanted but warned me that because of my petite frame/narrow chest width he may have to chose 350cc or go to high profile in the OR. Based on our conversations and reviews and photos from past patients, I knew he had a great eye and loads of experience so I was comfortable trusting him to make the decision. During surgery he used sizers and ended up doing 350cc mod+ which I trust was the best choice for me. I got silicone under the muscle through an areolar incision.
The recovery so far has been way simpler than I expected. For the most part I just feel chest tightness although there are definitely certain motions that are a little painful. I haven't even needed painkillers because he injected some long acting numbing/pain meds into my chest.

I couldn't be any happier with Dr. DeLuca and his staff (especially Patti). Dr. DeLuca seemed to truly listen to me and answered all my questions during my consultation, a follow-up phone call, and my preoperative appointment. He was always respectful, kind, and patient with me. He even came to the office on a Saturday just to check on me the day after surgery since I'm a long distance patient and he wanted to make sure I was okay before my trip home. His staff was equally helpful. Patti walked me through the booking and payment process, went through the paperwork with me, and helped me find a hotel to stay in. She was also always quick to respond to any messages and emails I sent with questions. So far my recovery has been way easier than I expected and I love my results, both of which I attribute to Dr. DeLuca's expertise. I can't wait to see my final results after I'm done healing, I'm sure I'll love how I look.
