29 Years Old Mom Getting Mommy Makeover - Albany, NY

I haven't posted anything in a while so I finally have the time to do so. I had two weeks off then I was back to work with limitations. It was kind of nice going back I was so tired of siting at home doing nothing. I did wear my girdle and still wearing my girdle to work and the gym. I started doing lite cardio I want to say three weeks in, nothing crazy mainly just the treadmill and stair climber. Since my 5 week check up I have started lifting again but doing lite isolation workouts so that I don't work out my chest or abs for a bit. My stomach is still feels a little weird in regards to ummm... its almost like when you get a Charlie horse in your foot and you walk on it that tingling sensation. That is how it feels when I touch my stomach, and I also don't like how it feels if I don't wear my girdle with clothing that numbing feeling just continues to stay more annoying then it hurting. Also if I sit for a long period of time I have some swelling right above my incision, and it goes away when I get up and move around. I don't get much swelling at all if I am on my feet only sitting. The three water blisters I had are completely gone and healed. I was worried that I was going to have a horrible scar from them but lucky for me nothing. I also do put lotion on my incisions because they feel tight sometimes and putting the lotion on makes the tightness go away for me anyway. The incision on my stomach looks great I am very happy with my results. I do still have stretch marks but I knew that going into it. Now for my breast they are healing great the incisions are great. I still have sensation in my nipples YAY, but they are still little high and have an odd shape to them at the moment. I know its going to take time for them to settle down so we will have to see how I feel about them at the end. Right now I feel like yes they are WAY better than before, but could they be better yes. At my five week check up I did go over how my breast looked and he did say that we would have to see in a few months and go from there, but everything looks great. The dent that was on my upper belly is slowly going away. It was scare tissue that I am massaging to go away so hopefully it continues to look better. When sit down and hunch over I can clearly see it but standing up and sitting normal it is not as noticeable. I have had my highs and lows about the surgery was it worth it was it not, but it totally was. I am very happy I did it, and I continue to set new goals. I happen to look over this last year for me and what a difference. I am very proud of myself for all the hard work I have done the sweat, blood, and tears that went into this. I have had great support from my family my husband especially. So lets hope everything continues to go well!

I got my drains out today soooooo happy to finally be free of them. Very interesting experience take them out. I was scared that it was going to hurt but felt werid more than it hurt. The nurse taking them out was super nice. She really put me at easy about the whole process. Unfortunately I did get water blisters from the tape around my tummy tuck incision =(. Was super disappointed that it happened, but they will heal. I have three of them about quarter size. I also had a divot on my upper abs. It was super prominent at first but as I am able to stand up straight and healing more it's going away. So had some hiccups and at first I was upset thinking I did something wrong, but after a nice talk with my husband he made me realize it's minor. As for my chest I really couldn't be happer. They came out perfect and exactly the size and shape I wanted. I ended up getting textured silicone 469cc. It's so nice for my breast to be full again =). I am slowly getting back into my routine. Sitting in the recliner I was starting to go crazy. I have been completely off meds for last few days maybe alittle longer. Next week I am going back to work. The swelling has gone down still have some but nothing like before. The first few days I remember looking at my thighs holy saddle bags. But all joking aside as the days go by the better everything is looking. Can't wait to see how things are months down the road.

Well I finally got in the shower today. Pain level is better, and able to eat more. I did get a peak of me, and I noticed right above my binder there is a bump. I think its a pocket of fluid. Figured if its still there for my appointment will talk to him. Results are quite nice so far even with all the swelling.
