Disappointed - left with terrible scars that make me very conscious

Disappointed
I had an alarplasty hoping to see a nice change , and after seeing the doctor he advised only 2mm per nostril after I explained the change I wanted .
The surgery was painful , the anesthetic basically, he showed me an immediate after and I got nervous straight away after seeing just a change in shape but not in how wide nostrils looked, he said it would take time , so now im on week 3 with terrible scars that make me very conscious, although dr says they’ll be invisible with time , but right now I don’t even want to go anywhere and feel embarrassed.
I really hope they get better , for the change I wanted I know now it’s not going to happen although I see a very light improvement maybe of a 15% , so im left with this scars hoping they’ll be unnoticeable soon but depressed
