Due to the recent tornado damage Alabama has had last week, I had to miss my 3 week post op visit. I am very concerned that one of the breasts still looks very high. I took pics and sent my PS a text message with my pictures and I have yet to hear from him. Lines were down and there is a possibility that my text message was lost in cyber-space, but I also called my PS's office today and haven't heard from anyone. I am very frustrated. Has anyone else out there experienced one breast that is very swollen, but has dropped and the other breast not as swollen, but hasn't dropped?

Hey there, just now saw your post/question from 5.3.11. I too had a lift with 375cc HP saline implants placed under the muscle.

Mine have and still are dropping at different rates. My right is still higher than my left ... I LOVE my left girl! Anyway, I partly attributed it to me being right handed and the muscles are more developed on that side. I go back to my PS in a couple of weeks so I will follow up with him then.

I wanted to send you a note, a bit of encouragement and let you know it is completely normal for them to look different for some time. Hope you are doing well! :)

Jojo42....Thank you so much for the encouragement. At one point, I was really freaking out. I talked with my PS's nurse last night and she told me that after looking at my pics, she saw that they were both still sitting high. I am right handed too and the muscles are stronger on the right side. She told me about some of the massages to do to help ease them down into the breast. I can already tell a difference from starting the massages last night. Anyway, I appreciate the encouragement more than you know. Its really great to be able to talk with other women that are going through the same thing. ;-)

Hi jm, how are you doing now? Have they settled into place, or are they on their way?

I am doing soooo much better. I am 11 weeks post op and they are looking better every day. They have not dropped 100% yet, but they are well along the way. I will post pics soon. I have no regrets that I did this. I am most pleased with them. They aren't perfect, but who has absolutely perfect breasts?

I got the lollipop lift. I am doing much better. My boobs feel like my own now, and they are starting to drop into 'place'. I have no regrets and am sooo glad I did it.

This seems to be the place I need to be right now. I feel like they are whacked out and I can't wait to see the doctor today because he is supposed to show me about massaging. My right has seemed bigger than the left the whole time too even my husband mentioned it and being right handed was my way of thinking also. It's a fact, I mean I try to force myself to switch hands when running the sweeper but it's not easy to do.

I am 16 days post-op now. The past few days have been so much better. I am able to lift my hands above my head, but not fully extend my arms when doing so. The pain has dramatically decreased and I think I am seeing an improvement with the swelling. I will be glad to see the doctor next Friday, as I have a few worries and questions. I am concerned about the glue that they used to adhere the steri-strips, as I believe to have had an allergic reaction to it or the steri-strips themselves. (You can see the rash in the pics) Anyway, my overall attitude is positive, although being concerned about the swelling and rash. Can't wait to start buying pretty bras and a few new tops.

I've developed some annoying allergies over the years and my skin hates adhesives. My surgery is next week, but Nurse Carol let me come in last week to do a skin test. My skin reacted horribly, so I'm glad that we tested my arm before doing my breasts. Just wanted to say that I can empathize!
