I am a 47 year-old medical professional with 3 children, twins born at age 43. I am physically in good shape and not overweight. Had breast lift and augmentation with excellent results, however, wanted to find something that would significantly improve the cellulite that plagued my thighs and arms. I also needed to address my triceps which were in need of liposuction. After discussing with the plastic surgeon who performed my breast surgery I was advised to see a surgeon who had the equipment and training to perform Cellulaze. After researching Cellulaze and Smart Lipo, I found a surgeon within 1 hour of me who had the level of expertise I was looking for. This could not have been a better experience for me. At 2 months out, the cellulite on all treated areas is vastly improved and, for the first time in a long time, I don't cringe when I look at myself without clothes. My physician husband is also very impressed.

Welcome to the community and thanks so much for offering your opinion of your doctor.

It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.

Our community members especially love seeing photos from before, during, and after — a realistic look at what they can expect. Photos grab the attention of the community and encourage more support for you.

As a community manager, I get requests all the time from other members who want me to to keep encouraging people to share their experiences, which are so helpful for others considering these procedures. So please accept this as a well-intentioned request from thousands.

Thank you so much for your kind comments about your aesthetic treatments (cellulaze, Smart Lipo, Fat Grafting) and your experience at our office. We are so pleased that your treatment is well on its way to a successful outcome....At two months you are seeing the first early results from the treatment so we are optimistic it will improve over the next few months. Thank you also for the kind comments about our office staff. They are very sensitive to how patients are treated in our practice and appreciate your kindness.

Hi, thrilled to read your review about Cellulaze performed by Dr. Gentile! I am going for my second consult tomorrow. I too have done much research on the procedure & a doctor. And I wondered why he was never mentioned on this site as there are not many docs that have this laser. I'm 38yrs old, around 5'2 & 128lbs. He said I had level 2 cellulite. And was also adding some Smart Lipo for contouring. He believed we could get very good results. If you could answer some questions for me I would really appreciate it. My cost will be about $6000, ( you don't need to disclose that if you don't want to) I have nothing to compare it to so I wasn't sure if that was high or average. Also, pain level ( I have a 4yr old to chase around) & recovery time? Any tips that could be helpful would be great! It's reassuring to read this because the reviews for this procedure are quite mixed & it's expensive as well. Thank you

Hi, my total cost was about $10,000 but I had arms and legs done with Cellulaze, Smart Lipo and transfer of the fat from my arms into my buttocks to fill them in. Recovery- I have twin almost 4yr old boys so I understand where you are coming from. Had surgery on a Friday, came home and stayed in bed the rest of the afternoon through the night. My husband took care of the kids for most of the weekend. By Monday, I was still fairly uncomfortable but managed to work taking only Tylenol the entire post-op period. My kids go to preschool so I was good during the day with just work. Evenings, again relied on my husband and older daughter to help with boys mostly just for those first 5-7 days and only because I didn't want them jumping all over my bruises and sore areas. You really just need to get through the first few days with a little help on the child-care side. I hope this helps.
Good luck.
