Week 3 - Post Op Photos!

WORTH IT$15,000
Hi! As promised here are my week 3 post-op photos. The swelling is slowly starting to come down. As many of you may have read, in week two you will be super swollen, so don't be discouraged! I was finally able to hop on the Peloton and do a ride, it feels good to move more. I am noticing some small bumps on my hips and two in my stomach. I've been researching how to do lymphatic massages at home, and I may look into having a professional work them out after Thanksgiving. They're getting smaller though.
This next week, I am going to start adding in some light weightlifting and doing ab works again. The first few weeks I was just too tender. As for my up-a-cup, they finally look as though they've evened out. I went from an AA to a B/C. I truly love being able to see curves in all the right places now.
I also took measurements for comparison:
- Bust Pre-Op: 38 AA / Bust Post Op - 34C
- Waist Pre-Op: 35.4 / Waist Post Op - 33
- Hips Pre-Op: 45.7 / Hips Post Op -42
Total Inches Lost so far: 10.3 :)
Stay tuned for more as I plan to post updates every 2-3 weeks.
Cheers!

Wow, great results. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress. Were you sedated or awake during your procedure?
Thank you for sharing.. Looking forward to seeing your progress. As I just had my consult..
How is your retention for your breasts? When do you think you dropped the most?
You look great, thanks for posting! Do you have more pics of your inner thighs that you had done...would love to see the before and after.
ORIGINAL POST

Airsculpt - 1 Week Post Op (Full Abdomen, Inner Thighs, Up-A-Cup)

Hello!

I am one week into my post-op and feeling pretty good. I had my full abdomen; upper/lower abs, pubic, love handles (sides & back along with my

the top of my butt), inner thighs, and up-a-cup fat transfer.

On the day of my surgery, I met with Dr. Bullis who really took the time to focus on my problem areas and hone in on where he would work to give my body the best shape. I had no idea that the love handles encompassed my back and above the butt and was thrilled to know that those problem areas were on their way out!

Let me start with the procedure itself. I took a Xanax and a shot of Demerol that they provided about 30 minutes before we started and felt pretty good for the most part. There were some painful moments that I had to power through though.

The numbing process can be painful in some areas of your body and it's a very awkward sensation as they pump the fluid into you. I was most sensitive up near my rib cage. Now for the fat removal; I couldn't feel this at all when they worked on my back or thighs, but my stomach was another story. The tales of it feeling like a massage...I want to talk to you all about the kind of massages you've been getting... ;) The doctor had to go up to a stronger tool on my trouble areas (I had a lot of hormonal fat under my belly button). This required some additional numbing near the end.

Transferring the fat to my breasts was super quick and a little painful, but it was very quick. I really appreciated through the entire process they were making sure to take out or put in the exact amounts on each side of my body to keep everything even.

Now for the Post Op:

I was able to walk right out and to my hotel. I won't lie, I had a lot done and was in some pain, but it wasn't unbearable. I wish I would have grasped how much you leak after, and you leak A LOT, especially if you have your full abdomen done. I highly recommend, getting a shower curtain to lay under an old sheet that is then covered by puppy pee pads or your preferred source of absorption. We were constantly changing out my pads the first 24 hours (we bought large maxi pads and some Depends), we even shoved a few of the puppy pee pads in there to just help catch some of the access.

After 48 hours, the leakage had almost fully stopped with the exception of the two on my back. Your first shower will feel amazing, but don't be out of the garment too long, getting back in after your body has loosened up a bit can be a process. Sleeping was the hardest part, my lower back ached, and sitting up was difficult.

As the days passed the pain subsided substantially. I have a lot of bruising in my inner thighs (not posted yet), and my lower abdomen. Mainly holding off on posting my inner thighs until the bruising goes aways because they look like giant purple blobs currently.

I am already blown away by the results in one week and I'm still in the most swollen part of the process. They let me know that week #2 I'll be even more swollen and then it should start to come down, but the results speak for themselves. One thing I am paying close attention to is my right breast seems to be a bit smaller than my left, however, this could be a result if my left swelling more or my right may have lost some of the fat. They are going to do a 3-month check-up in person to discuss if any adjustments need to be made.

Thank you for your review! I am doing almost the same next week with Dr Bullis as well. I did do the chin/neck area with him about a month ago and I would say the biggest surprise was the swelling week 2! I was disheartened thinking it didn't work but one day I woke up (probably around the end of week 2) and it was almost non-existant (my double chin)! Don't let your mind freak out over the next week or two!! Congrats!!
Thank you so much for posting! Your results look amazing for only one week out. Are you going to post any updated pics? I am having a consult with Dr. Bullís in a few weeks, I am interested in chin and stomach sculpting. How many days did it take for you to feel comfortable getting up and walking around? Thanks!
Congrats on your upcoming procedure! The swelling was a surprise for me too! I'm entering week 4 and it's starting to come down. I did measurements the other day and even swollen, I've lost about 4.5 inches around my midsection, and know that it will just keep getting better! They say you can take off your compression garment after two weeks, but my nurse advised to keep it on at least a month, which I'm grateful for the tip as it's helped so much with the overall swelling! Good luck next week!
Excited for you! Dr. Bullis was truly wonderful and made it all comfortable and easy. I will post new pictures tonight or tomorrow, now that I have someone to take them for me again. Oh and show my thighs this round too. I will say, I was pretty sore for about two days, the hardest part was sleeping those first few nights, my back was so sore. I ended up finding a slanted pillow at Bed, Bath, and Beyond that was a game-changer, the sturdiness, and ability to stay elevated made all the difference. However, while I was sore, I was still able to get around the house, in and out of the car, and walk on a treadmill by day three. I will tell you, leaning over to pick something up off the ground was difficult and would make me feel those sore spots throughout the week. I was wishing I had one of those claw grabber toys for anything I had to reach for. By the end of week one, I felt like I was fully back to normal in terms of pain. There are a few tender spots from time to time, and you can sense the numbness in some areas. Good luck and I'll get those photos posted ASAP!
