Airscultp + Regret
It has been 1 year since I received the Airscultp + procedure in Roseville, CA. I had originally inquired about my outer thigh area and hip dips and sent in photos of my perceived problem areas. After the surgeon reviewed my photos, the sales team recommended that I receive the liposuction procedure on my outer thighs, lower back, and full abdomen, and I was told that I was a good candidate for the “hip flip” procedure. I decided to move forward with all four recommendations. The original quote I received was around $20k and after several negotiations, we settled on $15k.
On the day of the procedure, while I was naked in the waiting room, the surgeon indicates that I actually was not a good candidate for the hip flip because she did not think I would have enough fat to harvest. She recommended that we add the inner thigh area and the nurse went back to the sales team to see about the extra cost involved. This seemed very unprofessional to discuss costs while I was in such a vulnerable state and had already paid $15k. I decided not to add the inner thigh area because I wasn’t willing to cover the extra costs. Rather, we proceed as we had originally planned.
The surgeon harvested 500ml of fat and injected 250cc on each side of my glutes.
The procedure itself was quick and painless. The healing process was okay. I received a revision 6 months post op to take a little more fat from my “love handle” area to further diminish the hip dip. I was told, however, that the new sagging skin and cellulite that had occurred as a result of the fat removal on the outer thighs was not an area that they could revise or address with Airscultp.
While my hip dips had improved slightly, the sagging and cellulite that I now have causes me a lot of insecurity and I definitely wouldn’t have paid $15k had I known that I would be swapping one problem area for another. In my experience, this company grossly over promised and under delivered. For these reasons, I cannot recommend Airscultp.
