hard painful lumps ): 12 days post

WORTH IT$15,000
everything looked amazing until about 2 days ago when these large hard painful protruding lumps appeared under my skin. they’re really uncomfortable and unsightly and they literally look like i have fat again on my stomach. i’m getting a lymphatic massage in 3 days and then another one in a week but i really hope these lumps aren’t permanent. i tried to self massage today and it hurt. there are also lumps in my arms. i’m super disappointed because i looked amazing until these lumps appeared and now i’m getting super self conscious and sad again ): did anyone else have these and did they go away eventually? how do i make them go away?

I had the same. I got lymphatic massage, infrared and ultrasonic and they went away after some sessions. It's trapped lymphatic fluid
Oh my gosh. Call the doctor and let them know this is happening. I don’t think that is normal. Please keep us updated on what happens.
The nurse told me that lumps and hardness are a totally normal part of the healing process and that i should self-massage. She didn't tell me what it was though even though I asked multiple times. I am going to get a professional lymphatic drainage massage tomorrow.
I’m also going through the same thing. 4 weeks post op today. I’ve been self massaging with bio oil after my shower. I also bought a gua Shua stone. Also scheduled my 2nd massage. Hopefully yours aren’t as painful anymore. It gets a little better.
Glad to hear it's common!! Have you noticed any improvement in the hardness after massaging?
I honestly feel like they’re still the same just not as tender anymore. Maybe a small slight difference on the hardness.
thanks, good to hear!! the woman who gave me my massage said theyll it'll go away on its own after 1-3 months but massage helps speed up that process, wishing u luck on ur recovery!
Oh ok. That’s good to hear. Same to you! From the pictures I’ve seen I’m sure you’re going to look fabulous.
Hi....any updates?
i will post an update tomorrow!!
Has it gotten any better??
Any update?
I'm curious as I've read about the lymphatic drainage and lumps in a few posts in my research. I understand any procedure is gonna have some side effects but do you have to pay out of pocket for the follow up massages, drains etc.? Or do the clinics provide this service?

9 days post- incisions open and leaking?

Swelling and bruising are be going down a lot. Skin slowly regaining feeling. All my incisions are closed and scabbed except for one on each of my love handles. I’m getting kind of worried because they still look like holes and they’re still leaking blood and yellowish pus every day. I am using gauze and medical tape on them so they can breathe. I just finished my antibiotics yesterday so i’m a little worried about infection. Can anyone share their experience with how long it took incisions to close?

You look great! Much thinner than me!! Mine were definitely still open at 9 days - prob 3 weeks to close. They had told me not to use gauze - but after 2 weeks - I was sick of the compression garment ripping open my scabs and started gauzing.

Now, 7 weeks out - I started using Mederma every night (for the past 3 days).

I was ready to swim in a pool after 4 weeks. All super super closed.
thank you so much (: super helpful! same here, mine were getting stuck to my garment and it was super painful to rip the garment off of them so i also think gauze is def the best way to go. hoping your results start coming through more dramatically!!
I’m exactly 3 weeks today. I have one incision that is barely closing and it was also getting red around it and yellowish on the inside. It was the one in my belly button. I started using peroxide Saturday to clean and neosporin at night with gauze over it then my foam over that. It looks much better today and is finally closing. Hope that helps you.
Never use peroxide on anything you want to heal. It slows the process.
thank you so much! super helpful, i haven’t been cleaning mine so i might try that starting tomorrow

4 days post (last pics were actually 48 hours post)

just posting these pics from 4 days post op- the last pics i included in my 4 days post op update were actually pics from my 48 hours post op shower so here are actual 4 days post op pics. i have some bruising that spread down to my vagina area and labia which is sorta alarming to look at by doesn’t hurt or anything. incisions are closing up really well! the only ones that still look like holes are my love handle incisions. going to try to put my belly button piercing in during my shower!

You look great! I agree that everyone’s recovery does vary because I’m 16 days post op and my recovery was also pretty easy. (I’m 40 yo) I still have some swelling, only bruising I have is on my booty bc I had fat transfer bbl but other than that it’s been good. Hope the rest of your healing continues going good as well. :)
thank you (: i definitely have a lot swelling, when did you notice it starting to go down? i bet the fat transfer looks great!! i chickened out at the last minute but i sorta wish id gotten fat transfer to breasts, did the region where you got fat transferred recover easier than where they took fat from?
I’m 20 days and still have some swelling but not as much. The fat transfer was not painful for me at all but the only thing that sucks is not being able to sit down for the first few weeks. I didn’t drive until I was 13 days post op and used BBL pillow. Loving my results so far though.
I chickened out from the fat transfer as well haha. You look great and the swelling goes down
thanks (: and hahaha it’s scary!!
