AirSculpt Post Op Week 4 (Lower/Upper Abs, Flanks)

I am a little over 4 weeks post-op!

I want to say that the pain I went through in my previous posts is well worth it. I am still a bit swollen, BUT I have seen such an improvement, and I feel so more confident.
I haven't worn tight clothes yet, but the clothes I have been wearing (mainly dresses) I just feel so confident.
I didn't think I'd feel like this again. And people have noticed! I have gotten a lot of compliments, not on my weight but on how good I look. And I think that mainly speaks to my renewed confidence.

I went into this procedure not to focus on how I looked but to get rid of something that was hindering how I felt about myself.

As far as pain, I am still a little sore. But I have started working out again and have had no problems.
I am still very much numb. It feels like I'm constantly wearing a belt. Again it doesn't bother me too much.
The areas that were sculpted are still hard and tight but again, does not bother me.

I'm changing my review from "unsure" to "recommend".

And I hope that people read my previous reviews to know the struggles I dealt with to get to this point. It was a long painful road, but very much worth it.

I can't wait to see how I'll be in another month!

AirSculpt Post Op Week 2 (Lower/Upper Abs, Flanks)

I am officially 2 weeks post-op! I never thought I'd make it, but here I am :)

I was officially able to stop wearing the compression garment and foam pad; however, I stopped wearing the foam pad a couple of days early, and here's why...

I noticed around day 11 that when I took my garment and foam pad off to shower that there was a small brown/yellow stain where my belly button incision was. The incision had a red ring around it and some white discharge. I knew that was the sign of an infection starting, so I cleaned it well, and air dry it. The foam pad was causing me a great deal of uncomfortable, and I could feel the press of it against my sore incision when wearing it.
My bruising was almost completely gone at this point, so I decided to stop wearing the foam pad and just the compression garment. Within a couple of days and extra care to my belly button incision cleared up completely.
The same thing is now currently happening with an incision on my lower left hip. It was almost completely healed, and when I took my garment off, it had a red ring around it and some discharge.
I'm not sure if this is normal or not.

I slept without my garment for the first time last night, which was WEIRD. I am still very, very sore and stiff, and without the garment, I felt unsupported. It was hard to sleep.
It feels like I have a band around my core and lower back, and it's very tight. When I touch my stomach, it feels hard as a rock, and there are some ripples. I'm still very much numb in these areas.

I also booked a fitness class, which I had to cancel because I am still too sore and don't want to push myself.
I am sticking with my daily 30-1hr long walks with the dogs.

I started weighing myself and tracking food again. Since the day of my procedure, I have lost 6lbs.
I'm sure with swelling continuing to decrease, I'll be down more.
It's nice to see that my efforts in tracking what I eat and exercising are actually making a difference this time around!
I can't wait to see how I'll look in a month.

AirSculpt Day 3 - 7 Post Op

Day 3 Post Op:
I woke up feeling less sore, but it still was pretty difficult to get out of bed.
I have constantly been leaking from the incision on my right hip, but I noticed the other incisions (honestly don't know how many there are) have stopped leaking and started scabbing.
I ran out of pads from the bag I received the day of my procedure, so I started using my own pads.
I noticed on this day I also leaked on my top sheets throughout the night, even though I have been using a towel. Probably because I have been trying my hardest to sleep on my back.
Work has been the same; still working from my couch and am not very productive.
After work, my husband and I had plans to have dinner with friends from out of town. I didn't want to cancel since we don't see them often.
During dinner, I noticed I was leaking through my garment and onto my clothes. It was pretty embarrassing. Luckily my friends were understanding when I wanted to leave early.
Still downing ibuprofen like candy.
I also ordered gauze and stool softeners (I haven't had a bowel movement since Day 1) from Amazon.

Day 4 Post Op:
I woke up feeling much better! Still sore, but not as sore as I was the first 3 days.
I was able to sit in my office chair and be very productive at work. I did notice on this day that I started to feel a burning sensation under my garment along with zaps and tingling feelings.
I feel like I am going to rip out of my garment with the foam pad. It feels so tight and was very painful on the top of my ribs. I even had a massive bruise there.
I was worried it was too tight, so I called the nurse, and she said it may be the heat and it sounded like my swelling was peaking, and I could unclasp the top two notches. Unclasping the top two notches did help a lot. But where the foam pad is on my stomach feels very, very tight.
On this day my husband and I had to go on a 4-hour car ride since we had travel plans. The car ride was super uncomfortable. I couldn't sit in one place for very long.
The gauze was helpful, but the stool softener was not.

Day 5 Post Op:
Still woke up sore.
My leaking subsided from my hip incision and started to scab! I had to purchase a natural laxative as I was feeling very uncomfortable from not having a bowel movement, the stool softeners weren't working.
Luckily the natural laxative did the trick that same day.
I still felt very tight in the garment. The foam pad is so pushed into my stomach it's leaving indents. Though I'm following the nurse's orders and sticking it out.

Day 6 Post Op:
Still woke up sore.
The 4-hour drive back was much more bearable than before. Still couldn't get comfortable, but I wasn't in pain every time I moved.
I've continued to use stool softeners to generate bowel movements as I feel like I can't go on my own.
I noticed bruising has turned a yellow color when I showered. I also noticed I'm regaining some sensation in certain parts of my stomach and lower back.
I am still feeling random burning sensations, tingles, and zaps.
I have officially stopped leaking at this point!

Day 7 Post Op:
I could not sleep last night due to my back now feeling very sore. I tried side sleeping, but it wasn't comfortable with how sore my sides still were.
Standing up feelings great at this point, I'd rather stand than sit.
My 30-minute walks are getting easier. It's still not comfortable, but it's much better than what it was.
I'm still feeling that the garment is way too tight. When I sit down or stand up, I have to adjust the garment so that it doesn't hurt. When I take the garment off to shower, I am not as sore.
I have my 1-week post-op call today, so I'll bring this concern up again.
I will say that where the foam pad is, I have very little bruising. So maybe I'm just being a baby :)
