How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Beautiful Office, Not So Beautiful Results
Pros- complimentary valet, comfortable office, nice nurses and staff
Cons- consultations and post op follow up visits are generally done during a patient’s procedure, which could feel a bit rushed or the other patient would have to wait as they’re on the table
Although advertised as minimally invasive, and speedy recovery with no need for massages, I did not find this to be true. I was still advised to get massages (costly on top of an already costly procedure) to prevent fibrosis, pain subsided after a month but tenderness persisted until 6-7 months.
I have been putting off on writing this review as I wait for the final results to set and see what can be offered by Airsculpt. I had high hopes going into my procedure with Dr. Slocum at AirSculpt, but unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. I had upper and lower abdominal, flanks, back bras rolls, and fat transfer to the hips done. The procedure felt far from getting a “deep tissue massage” and took about 7 hours from the time I laid on the table. You are awake the entire time but sedated, and during my procedure my surgeon left 3 times for consults/post op follow ups for other clients.
First and foremost, the outcome of my procedure has left me with **noticeable unevenness and lumpiness in my skin texture**, which was not only unexpected but has become a daily source of insecurity. No matter how I position myself, the irregularities are obvious, and it doesn’t look anything like the before-and-after photos I was shown.
Additionally, the **fat transfer placement** was poorly executed. Instead of achieving the volume desired on my hips, the areas now asymmetrical and disproportionate. It appears that the transfer was higher than intended, especially on one side. It’s incredibly frustrating to have gone through the pain, expense, and recovery only to end up with poor results.
I found out at my three month post op at AirSculpt that Dr. Slocum was no longer working there and now another surgeon would have to do a revision.
The thought of having to go through this process again is daunting to say the least, and “I may not have enough fat” for full fat transfer. Although a revision was offered, I’m disappointed that it didn’t include the Airsculpt + that was recommended, or anything else for the pain/recovery/and trouble of having to do this all over again. All I can hope for is an improvement from what Dr Slocum left me with.
