Airsculpt & AirSculpt+ on Arms

Almost at 3 months now and wanted to leave a review with my truthful experience.

I took arnica pills for 5 days before procedure and a week after and my bruising was still insane so not sure I would bother recommending that tbh

Procedure
1. The staff were all lovely. Doctor was very nice as well although you can tell you are just one of like 3 people coming in that day so don't expect too much conversation in the pre-room.
2. The pills given to relax you were good, didn't effect me too much tbh, certainly didn't make me go loopy or lose memory like some people have stated
3. The demerol shot in the arm was deep so it definitely hurt a little
4. I was never offered nitrous during the procedure and never needed it. Nothing was painful during the airsculpt to me at all, not the little shots to make the insert holes or the procedure itself. However, I would say that the airsculpt+ definitely had a couple of moments when it was a bit painful as it's like a burning feeling.
5. They put you in the compression garment and you are good to go. Make sure you speak up if you don't feel the garment fits right, I could tell mine was too big so they got the smaller one and it was better.
6. I was in and out in around 3h or so.

After
1. I leaked a little on the ride home but really not much at all, sat on a towel in the car so no issues. After that barely any leaking. I would suggest when you take off the compression garment after 48 hours, do what I did and cover the holes with little band aids - it stops the garment sticking to the holes because when you pull it off it isn't nice. Ps I eventually wore the garment for 4 full weeks rather than the 2 they recommended because without it I felt more pain. I still wore it to sleep in for another 4 weeks or so after that as well because I couldn't sleep on my side without it.
2. Had some of the ibuprofen they provide every day for maybe 5 days after procedure. I had no issue getting out and walking around next day onwards though, that wasn't an issue.
3. Let's get real here, I have NO idea how people say they are back to normal or whatever in 48 hours - for me it hurt a lot, even putting on a sweater was painful. I stayed in bed for pretty much the next 2 days to recover, still taking walks 3 times a day though. I certainly bruise a lot so that might have made my pain worse but it hurt for a good few weeks and the bruising took about 4 weeks to go.
4. Definitely took a few weeks for the swelling to go down but at 8 weeks it was pretty much gone for me.

Pros
1. The size of my arms is fantastic, cannot complain at all about how they look now
2. The scars are tiny, barely noticeable
3. The process on the day was super smooth and I would definitely recommend them or return again
4. I felt the price was pretty decent for the procedure
5. I was so relieved that the pain of the procedure really was negligible. I was expecting much worse and it was barely anything, for me anyway.

Cons
1. My loose skin hasn't really all gone, not that I should probably have expected it to based on my arm size pre-op. I would have loved it to have totally retracted but I still think the airsculpt+ was a worthy add on.
2. The healing process really wasn't fun for the first month, if someone had accidentally knocked my arm or grabbed me I think I would have been rolling around on the ground screaming tbh lol. I got a couple of lymphatic Massages after 6 weeks because there is no way I could have had someone doing that in like week 1 or 2, I can't believe people do that!
3. I called the clinic for some feedback on my skin wrinkles and they didn't get back to me until after I followed up maybe 2 or 3 times after, which sucked a bit because that was the only time I contacted them before or after the procedure asking for help/info. They were very apologetic about it though so I wasn't too stressed.

Overall, I would recommend it for arms, I would say maybe don't expect them to be totally perfect if you have a medium to large amount of loose skin i.e. they don't end up quite like how the adverts look but they are definitely going to be better.

Hope this all helps.
