Total disappointment

After 9 months and a LOT of pain and money, I am still not planning on ever wearing a bathing suit or shorts. My pants fit the same. Legs are a bit smaller but still just as lumpy and disgusting as ever. Complete waste of time and money! Pics are before and after. I am so upset that I wasted so much money. When we get ready to go to the beach, I just want to cry. I had the surgery because we live in Hawaii and I wanted to feel comfortable wearing a swimsuit. Unfortunately, still wearing board shorts.

I lost 170 lbs after gastric bypass 8 years ago. I had a tummy tuck, breast and arm lift the following year but never got around to having my legs done. I have been very unhappy with my thighs ever since.....never wearing a swimsuit and rarely wearing shorts. I'm glad I decided to go to Dr Healy. I had the surgery 5 weeks ago. So far, everything is going well...healing nicely. Results aren't quite where I was hoping yet but there's still swelling. I am very impressed with my incisions....even after only 5 weeks. I can already tell that the scars will be very faint.

Hello, happy everything is going well with your recovery. I am having a thigh lift in December. Can you tell me about the surgery? Were you in a lot of pain? Where is your incision? Sorry to bombard you with questions... Thanks

Hi. Yes, it has been very painful but I have Fibromyalgia so I think that has had something to do with my pain levels. My incision is on the inside thighs from the bottom of my knee up to my groin area. I have had a lot of swelling which has been frustrating. It's been over 6 weeks now so recovery has taken a lot longer than I anticipated. Everyone is different but just know that this is a major surgery and recovery could take some time. I have been fortunate that I didn't have any problems with my incisions opening up like I've seen other people have problems with.
Good luck with your surgery!
