Best Decision I've Made for Myself - Aiea, HI

I've wanted a breast augmentation for as long as I can remember. If I had to pin point a time, I would say around 17-18 years old is when I first had the desire to have larger breasts. I'm now 28, and have spent the better part of the past 10 years considering breast augmentation. I would have done this sooner but could never really work up the courage or it was never the right time. I am now 6 weeks post-op and can say that I am so happy I did this for myself. Since this is supposed to be full disclosure I will admit, I was absolutely terrified out of my mind over the actual surgery. Luckily, I had an exceptional surgeon who took care of me above and beyond expectations. I had no noticeable bruising after surgery and my pain was very minor. I did take all of my medications as prescribed which I think helped my post-op experience. I think the most challenging part of surgery for me was emotionally adjusting to my physical changes. Even though I really wanted this, you cannot completely prepare yourself for the reality until you're in it. Going through clothes and nothing fitting right or not being able to sleep comfortably for a few weeks took a toll on me. It really wasn't until about two weeks ago when I was 4 - 4 1/2 weeks post-op that I started to see some of the full changes. Let me tell you, the results are amazing! I don't think I have ever felt so comfortable in my own skin before. I no longer feel disappointed about clothing that doesn't fit because a big change often requires a few smaller ones as well. If you're considering breast augmentation, the best advice I can give you is to find a surgeon that you feel 100% comfortable with. Make sure you love their body of work as well, you need to find someone that will give you the look you want to achieve. Also, do this for yourself, not for anyone else and I can guarantee you will not regret your decision!
